'We loved our stay! the free shuttle picked us up from the bus station, all the staff were amazingly sweet and helpful, the in-room kaiseki meal was beautiful and delicious, the breakfast buffet was a great mix of both japanese and western options,and our in-room onsen with a view of lake Kawaguchiko was lovely. We haven't stayed at any of the other hotels/ryokans in the Kawaguchiko area but we would gladly go back to Konansou'

'The best place for family/ friends’ staycation! Lovely owners make your trip so special. All the facility is well maintained with cute decors and very clean, everything is equipped. What you should bring is only food and drinks. It is located right next to the beautiful shrine which is Unesco world heritage, and having amazing view of Mt.Fuji from the terrace. We stayed with 2 toddlers and 4 adults but space was more than enough, all of us was really happy to stay in this beautiful property...

'The staff was wonderful in helping set up special touches for our stay. The private onsen was spectacular, the room itself was clean and comfortable. This was our favorite stay during our honeymoon in Japan by far, we will be highly recommending this to friends and family. '

'We had a very nice time on our stay at this small quiet hotel. We had the Shikibu room and appreciated the spaciousness. It had an outdoor garden view as well as a separate private small outdoor onsen. The onsen looks tiny on first impression but it was nice and we enjoyed the outside seating area too. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice, and definitely get the breakfast. Amazing breakfast! The staff were friendly and very helpful with transportation back to the train station....

'Locatie was goed, wat verouderd groot hotel. Eten was oké, we vonden slechts enkele gerechten lekker. Ik kreeg omdat ik geen rundvlees at 3 x speklap in mijn menu. Dit had echt anders gekund. Jammer. Pluspunten Mount Fuji goed te zien vanuit dit gebied.En je wordt opgehaald en terug gebracht treinstation. '

'Personeel was vriendelijk. Mooi uitzicht. Dan is al het positieve er ook wel mee gezegd. Kamer was zeer gedateerd en niet net. Er hingen nog plakkers op de muur van een schilderij die er mogelijks ooit heeft opgehangen. Er waren plekken op de kussens van de zetel, de zetel zelf en tafel. Er stonden twee aperaturen om te ontvochtigen en lucht te zuiveren en daarbovenop nog eens de airco/verwarming die enorm veel lawaai maakte. Dit heel de nacht door ondanks dat we deze hadden uit gezet… Het bed...
