'I traveled as a single woman. The hotel is ok overall and very convenient. Most staff do not speak English but will use a translator. The restaurant is mediocre but also very convenient. The issue I had was the rooms floor was covered in an oily substance. I didn’t notice until after my bag and a few other items came into contact with it. It left a brownish oily stain on my items that came into contact with it. Possibly a cleaning agent that wasn’t rinsed well? You could see my foot prints...

We knew that before coming here and we loved that it looked like a little museum.
However we were not expecting having to go up and down the narrow stairs all the time. Be careful when carrying luggage and after the rain!'
'Located in a very central and safe area of Manaus, in front of the Theater, this is a boutique Hotel ideal for travelers who want all the essentials, breakfast buffet, and even pool in a quiet and unique ambiance. The Hotel was a colonial house turned into an inn, with renovated spaces still preserving its original history. The Hotel is well staffed, clean, and the location walkability to all tourist destinations is excellent.
