Awesome place, plenty of room. Had 11-12 people and it was not crowded at all. Right on the water. Night stars and sky are absolutely insane. Sunrises are even better. Love winni, loved the house. Thanks for having us!!!

The location of this house is great and we loved having a dock and walkability to town as well as beautiful lake views. While the house can fit 12, the house did feel full with 5 adults and a baby. Unfortunately, the inside of the home was not fully appointed. The grill was unusable and very dirty, the hot tub was not clean and had trash and party favors from the prior group and the trash cans were overflowing from the prior group as well. We also did not have hot water for a night and had to reset the circuit in the basement. That said, the owners were very responsive to our concerns which I appreciate, but too many issues for a vacation.

Good Location

Stayed July 4th weekend. Nice property right on the water. Small beach. Dock for a boat. Walking distance to restraunts, but every place is closed by 10 pm. Enjoyed the amenities. The building is small & clean. Overall a good stay, but overpriced.

Amazing!!

We loved our stay here. The owners are nearby if you need anything at all they are super easy to reach. They even rent boats and jet skis if wanted. The house was great, clean, and just as listed. Will be booking again next year!

Best part was the dock, although taken over by neighbors. Property needs a ton of work and a good deep cleaning. Weird that there are 2 bunk rooms and not a queen or king. On a main road but good for one night. Nice to be able to walk to town. Coffee maker needs to be replaced as it is covered in sludge and is unsanitary.

Perfect Family Getaway

We spent four wonderful nights here with our three kids and our daughter’s friend (ages 7–12), and from the moment we left, all we heard on the ride home was, “Can we please go again next year?!”The house was perfect for our family. The dock and swimming area were ideal for the kids—safe, fun, and easy to access—and of course, the hot tub was a hit with everyone! The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the arcade, pool table, and ping pong kept the kids entertained for hours.As the listing mentions, the home is on a main road, but we barely noticed. You really don’t need to spend any time on that side, and the provided sound machines were a thoughtful touch for light sleepers.We had such a great time and are already looking forward to coming back next year. This place is well on its way to becoming our new annual tradition!

Good for the price

It was good. The biggest part I would change is the check in and checkout time. Id recommended checkout was later than 10 am and check in earlier than 4 and it would be 5 stars for the price. Thank you for the stay:)

My family and I enjoyed our time there. The house and rooms/bathrooms were smaller than we expected, but we made the best of it. The pool table and game room was a fun addition. We enjoyed the hot tub, patio and deck area, beautiful view!

Very nice getaway

We had a very nice family vacation in Alton Bay. We haven’t been to LW in 20 or more years and have previously stayed in Moultonborough. This was a nice area, not a lot around but a few restaurants within walking distance. The lake was beautiful. There were limited pics of the rooms for a reason. Very small. Decent amenities. 3 bedrooms, 1 with king, 2 bedrooms with bunks (full sized bottom). 1 small br with toilet, sink, shower. Tiny. Then a very small bathroom with toilet and sink, another room (closet sized) shower only. 2 living room couches that pull out to sleepers. It is loud here but there were white noise machines in most (all?) rooms. The noise didn’t bother any of us. Thin walls so people next door were loud up late talking loud. But we didn’t speak up, when they saw us look out the window, they quieted down. We borrowed a pack n play. I’d recommend bringing your own. Mold/mildew smell. Here was my issue….people kept coming to the door thinking it is Vacaza office. It was not. We had 5 separate groups come to the door over our 7 day stay. 3 of them walked right in or tried. I let Vacaza know and Steve was very responsive to my mention of it but stated no one had ever complained/mentioned this happening in the past. If you are reading this, Steve, yes it happened 2 more times after we spoke. He profusely apologized and stated that the check in directions have since been updated to make them more clear, moving forward. I’d still recommend..

The house was really cute and we loved the location. Sleeping arrangements weren’t exactly for a comfortable 12 but would be ideal for 6-10. it was a really nice stay and we enjoyed our time!

Family Vacation

The stay was great, the location on the lake is beautiful. The property managers are very responsive. Great place for a vacation with groups of all ages. We were able to rent a boat and many other things from them which is very convenient. The house is along a busy road so can get a little loud at times but overall the area is pretty quiet. Would stay again!

Great location-wonderful hosts!

The house is well located and well maintained and the hosts could not be better. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed. The real star is the lake and the dock. The lake is clear and you can see the fish come right up. The dock has ample space for the everyone to hang out and the water is deep enough you can cannonball off the end. A real plus is the ease of renting boats, PWC, and/ or floats right next door from the hosts.

Perfect pre season getaway

It the beginning of the season so there are bound to be some hiccups but the host was super responsive and handled everything quickly. House is a bit smaller than appear in pictures. Says it sleeps 12 but that really is a stretch. We had 6 and that was fairly packed. We had a day where we lost water. The hot tub needed treatment so was down for a couple days. Only 2 small pans. Need a large pan Master bedroom curtains don’t cover the whole window so get ready for some bright mornings Perfect location in Alton Bay. The weather was not great so we had a lot of in-house time. If the weather was better we would have been out more.

Pleasant, easy stay and great communication

My family and I stayed at this property over the past two nights and it was extremely pleasant and lovely. The property had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, even for our 3 kids under 9, and in close proximity to great food and sights, even if the weather was chilly. The managements communication was truly top notch, thanks for a great experience! We will be back

Great for teens

We came for a night to celebrate my son's 14th birthday. We brought 7 of his friends. It was perfect for them, they loved the pool table and game room, as well as the hot tub. It was definitely smaller than I expected based on the pictures, so we were packed in a little closer than I thought we would be. But it was great for what we needed and the boys had a blast.

Great Time at Lake Winni

This was our first time staying on Lake Winni and we really enjoyed it. We had up to 8 people total staying with us and our 2 golden retrievers and it was perfect. It was wonderful to be right on the water with a dock. We also rated paddle boards for the week from the same company, which was great. We would definitely stay here again.
