'Lots and lots of steps and ramps. Not a hotel for someone who needs extra help to get around Golf carts help but it still not to the beach. Beach is beautiful but small. Lots of steps to get down to beach. Plain beach chairs that fill up quickly Breakfast was lovely, pool was beautiful. Dinner was good one evening. Bed was hard but similar to other places. View was amazing. Wonderful front desk '

'Stayed two nights june 24-26, we enjoyed this place and would stay again. Its a bit out of the way and a car is required although there are regular bus stops at the front gate. Had a well manicured garden and nice pool. A rocky beach is about a 3 minute walk. The room was clean, had all the amenities we expected and the bed was comfortable. They have two breakfasts, a light continental and a buffet. The continental was enough for us.'

'Pool was closed, even the water fountain was turned off. Our bathroom door handle was broken. The bed was uncomfortable, they only gave us one pillow each so we needed two more which they did provide. The headboard was very uncomfortable. The shower was one you had to hold to use as they didn't have a fixture on the wall. Only hand soap, no shampoos or shower gel provided. No breakfast. We asked to leave our bag before we checked in and they told us to leave it behind the sofa in the lobby,...

'We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night.
