Comfortable stay, great location
We really enjoyed our stay at the Uyut Hotel. It was walking distance to all the main sights in the city and close to lots of great restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again!

Good at first & very unprofessional when i left
Experience at the hotel at first was good, i satayed for several nights, room was clean but the bed didn't have a headboard for some reason it had a brick wall. They charged me extra because i had a local friend that stayed with me in the room.. The horribly very unprofessional service i got was when i checked out of the hotel on my way back to home to usa i starte to get several text messaged from the hotel on whatsapp telling me that i owe them miney for unpaid taxes and my friend staying with me.. but they didn’t say anything to me upon my check out at the hotel.. Constantly bothering me inconvenienced me during my trips back at the airport very, very disappointing and unprofessional. Will not be going back to this hotel.

Отель давно уже зарекомендовал себя как недорогой, но уютный и комфортный. Мне, как приезжающему на короткий срок, все нравится. Единственное ,что хотелось бы пожелать, чтобы уборку проводили ежедневно ,а не в день заезда и отъезда.

Все отлично! Но, я никогда не ставлю оценку 5 если не уделяется должного внимания напольному покрытию (ковролину) в номере. Его в редких случаях проходят пылесосом. Просьба обратить внимание администрации на этот аспект чистоты в отеле. Спасибо! За последний год WiFi в Казахстане стал "хромать". Даже не знаю отнести это к недостаткам отеля или это проблема в целом по стране.

I was overcharged!!!
Upon my arrival to the hotel the hotel receptionist told me that the room type I booked was unavailable, and gave me a choice to choose either an upper class more expensive room or a lower class more affordable room. I went for an affordable room option. My stay was for 2 nights. At the 2nd late evening of my stay the receptionist called me at around 11 pm when I was already in bed, and told me to relocate to another room type that I originally booked. I told that it was very late for relocation and refused to do so. You don't call people asking to relocate at 11 pm Ms. Hotel Administration!!! You should have told it at the check-in or in the morning after the first night stay!!! Upon the check-out receptionist didn't even bother to tell me that I was charged the original booking price. I stayed in a more affordable room, but was charged for an upper class type room. This is unacceptable!!!! I want the difference to be paid back to me!!!

前台的客服態度很差..明明已全付款..又給confirmation他們看.. 他們不相信..不查明..而且說話很尖酸.. 我唯有請朋友打電話去hotels.com.攪清楚已付清. 客服態度令人非常討厭.資素很低劣 The attitude of the front desk customer service is very poor.. obviously have paid all.. and give confirmation to them to see.. They don't believe it.. don't find out.. and the speech is very bitter.. I only have to ask my friend to call hotels.com. I have to clear the payment. Customer service is very annoying. The qualifications are very poor.

Good value for money
Nothing to complain about, the reception staff expected us and check-in was a breeze, the hotel looked just the photos on Expedia and the staff were very helpful and service-minded. They also have a good restaurant on the bottom floor. A great place to stay in Almaty!

First let me tell you that the indoor pool they advertised does not exist. It's more like a deep hot tub, without the hot. Second, I booked the room on orbitz and as usual booked for 2 people. When I arrived they tried telling me my booking was on expedia and that it was for 1 person and I'd have to pay 15$ more a night for a second. After A somewhat heated conversation with Aziz, the front desk man, it was resolved. When I asked Aziz to speak with the manager about my problem, he told me that it was a holiday and he couldn't disturb her. Every single member of the staff except for the restaurant staff was rude and unhelpful. They are way overstaffed and when I was talking to Aziz at the front desk, I had about 4 other men, vallets and security crowding my space behind me. Especially the guys doing the "security" looked awful. No one greeted you at the door. They all have you a mean look and there eyes continued to stare at you until you were beyond view. It was an extremely uncomfortable stay. Given that I had a suite and the most expensive room in the hotel. I expected a little more customer service than what I got. I will never consider staying there again.

Good place for a business traveller
Rooms are clean, although my room was not very big, but big enough for me and my luggage. Breakfast was good, and I give an extra plus for the restaurant, which has open patio on summertime. Also location is nice, no traffic noise at all.

Бываю в Алма-Ате регулярно. Выбор отеля определяется в зависимости от цели поездки. В командировке (за счет фирмы) останавливаюсь в "Казахстане", летом для горного туризма - в "Чимбулаке" или на "Воротах Туюксу". В этот раз мы с женой приезжали в А-А, чтобы навестить родственников, так что выбор отеля определялся в первую очередь близостью к месту их жительства на ул.Пастера (кто такой Макатаев - ?). Но по прибытии были приятно удивлены общим состоянием отеля, качеством номеров и уровнем сервиса. Достоинства: нормально работает интернет, нет замечаний к завтраку, мебель в номере практически новая, кровать удобная, освещение в номере спроектировано грамотно, сантехника новая, все работает как надо - не придерешься. Мелкие недостатки: надо бы в ванной прибить пару крючков для одежды, вешалка у входной двери качается, когда на нее вешаешь куртку - надо зафиксировать ее к стене. Вид из окна никакой (отель расположен внутри жилого квартала и практически "окна в окна" к жилым домам), но это не зависит от персонала отеля и лично для нас не является приоритетом. В целом отель вполне соответствует своей ценовой категории и при следующей поездке в А-А с аналогичными целями будем останавливаться там еще и еще. Сергей и Рашида.
