« Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. « Reception check in was smooth and friendly. Consideration of an event being held on a Saturday evening was communicated to us so we were put on the higher level floor (2) so we didn't get disturbedby the noise. The room was clean and the bed was super comfy, ironing board and hairdryer were supplied in the room along with coffee and tea making facilities. All the staff were very helpful and polite. Very reasonable room rates for an extremely comfy and clean hotel. »

"Felt like being part of a cruise for some reason, the entertainment, size of the hotel, gave that ambiance.
The rooms need to be refreshed (the bathroom was old) but all in all, we still had a good time in Folkestone so I'd still give it a 7 if I had to rate the experience."
