Fijn hotel, schoon, goede locatie. Netjes. Lekker ontbijt. Enige minpuntje wat ik heb is de service, twee keer geprobeerd bij de bar wat te eten/drinken maar de eerste keer was de keuken dicht (rond 14:30), ook geen snacks. De tweede keer wilden we een drankje doen maar kwam er niemand ons bedienen. Verder kan het ontbijt sneller aangevuld worden en heeft het personeel het te druk (duidelijk te weinig mensen) om koffie/thee te serveren dus moet je erom vragen. Verder wel een topverblijf gehad en is zeker wel een aanrader.

Mooi hotel met alle faciliteiten
Check in verliep snel en prettig. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De eerste avond kregen wij een probleem met het bad waarna we konden douchen in de fitnessgelegenheid aangezien er niet meteen een monteur beschikbaar was. De volgende dag is het netjes opgelost, al had het wel sneller gemogen of een vervangende kamer kunnen geven.

Heel fraai super goed onderhouden hotel met zeer goed ontbijt. Het enige ongemak is dat in april de aircon nog niet werkte waardoor het >25 graden op de kamer was. Helaas ook ‘s nachts

Poor quality hotel accommodation complaint
I am writing this complaint regarding my recent stay at the hotel Smy Carlos V Wellness & Spa Alghero, which was not satisfactory, due to faulty information of accommodation description provided on the hotel website. My boyfriend and I had the misfortune of staying at your hotel from the 25th to the 29th of August 2023, firstly at room number 534 and then at room 529. During our stay we encountered a number of unsatisfactory service levels that I think you should know about. When we first arrived at the hotel, after checking in, I asked the receptionist if they could take our bags to our room. She answered in a very rude way and asked me if they were too heavy to carry. I politely asked if they did or did not have that service, which I know you do have, and if they could take them to our room. At the end the bags were taken as requested. The arrival at room 534 was a very unpleasant experience. The room has badly dated features and decor. The room view, that was supposed to be a garden view, was simply miserable. A mistreated garden with burnt grass. This is not what you are expecting from a five star hotel nor what is announced on the website pictures. More importantly, the bidet wasn’t working properly as the water didn’t flush. The same happened with the sink. The toilet’s water kept running nonstop and the bed was very uncomfortable. We decided to give it a try at this bedroom, however the conditions were simply unacceptable. We also had a very sour experience wit

We are sorry to read this review and your dissatisfaction with your stay.As for the malfunctioning of the bidet and the bathtub, we understand from the maintenance intervention that you did not know how to close and open the jumper. This is different from malfunctioning. Room services, as per the standards required by our regional institutions, are available at all times when the services are open to the public. I am sorry if you felt you were not given enough attention, the fact that we still upgraded your room to a pool and sea view from the garden view you had booked does not seem to me to be a lack of attention. But that’s it, not everyone has the same sensitivity and empathy. I would only add that on arrival the girl at reception asked you if your luggage was heavy to see if a trolley was needed or if the porter could simply take it by hand. However, we are happy that you chose our facility and we thank you for that. Please accept our warmest regards

Gentile Signor Paolo siamo folto felici che l'hotel le sia piaciuto così come la nostra posizione che confermiamo, è veramente invidiabile. Quanto ai servizi extra che definisce inavvicinabili, mi dispiace, ma dobbiamo specificare che è esattamente il contrario. Le sue consumazioni abituali, caffè doppio 3 euro e lo Spriz 7 euro (in una terrazza con vista mare mozzafiato) non mi pare che siano assolutamente inavvicinabili. Se si riferisce al supplemento per il servizio in camera di 15 euro in aggiunta a 2 caffè, richiesto a colazione, le confermiamo che anche in questo caso è un importo veramente molto basso, tenuto conto che è necessario staccare un cameriere dal servizio per portare la consumazione in camera. Ci auguriamo tuttavia che questo non abbia influito negativamente nello svolgimento della sua vacanza e ci auguriamo di poterla riavere presto nostro gradito ospite. Cordialmente. La direzione.

Overpriced room with an amazing view but outdated furnishings and air conditioner that didn't work, even after being"fixed". Worst bed I've slept on since camping on a roll out mat 20 years ago. Restaurant and bar service were great when available. Disappointed we couldn't get a meal at the hotel at 9.25pm, informed that the restaurant closes at 9.30pm, which I'm sure most would agree is a little too early for a European summer, particularly when there is no room service available. Location made up for many of the hotel's shortcomings.

Não existe nenhuma explicação para se considerar 5 estrelas, o atendimento é medíocre para pior, o Ibis os funcionários são melhores treinados a recepcionar e atender bem os hóspedes. Tudo que tem de interessante nas fotos do hotel é do Spa que não esta incluso nada na diária. O atendimento novamente tenho que apontar é lamentável, cheguei para checkin as 14:40 e ainda tive que esperar 50 minutos para entrar no quarto. O bar da piscina não servem nenhum lanche somente bebida, o restaurante do hotel por mais que esteja vazio não te atendem se não tiver feito reserva. Pedi 3 vezes um saca-rolhas e me deixaram esperando sem entregar, até ligar uma quarta vez e falarem que não tem.

Exceptional staff. Great service. Great room. The breakfast is terrific. My family and I had a fantastic experience. Gym leaves something to be desired and there is a lawn beyond the pool area that looks unfinished. Given how great this hotel is overall, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that the lawn is probably a project in progress and will look very different sometime soon.

Fem stjerners komfort ok. Priser på mat deretter. Rom mot hage med mye byggestøy (4 prosjekter) som trekker ned vårt inntrykk. Ikke mulig med morgen svøm da bassenget ikke åpner før kl 10. Ny management, litt høye priser generelt gjør at belegget er lavt. Ingen butikker eller alternative restauranter i umiddelbar nærhet. Sjøen nedenfor er steinete og glatt, farlig å bade. Beach bus som hotellet anbefalte fungerer dårlig, måtte av og vente på ny, brukte over 1 time ekstra hjem; taxi anbefales.

Beautiful place. Beautiful food and pool. Service great. Terrible pillows and really uncomfortable beds. The room was really really hot! So rooms with a view are on fire, way to hot for us in room and seemed this couldn’t be fixed, aircon not great. So for 5 star bit dissatisfied with a fee things sadly

The Carlos V Hotel is one of the most brilliantly located properties in Alghero, it's right on the sea front, with amazing Mediterranean views it's in a relatively quiet residential area so total silence (and amazing sleep) in the night time. The facilities are wonderful: our room was huge, with nice added benefits like bathrobes, slippers, quality toiletries, bottled water (still & sparkling) provided daily. Cleanliness was incredible - the hotel obviously has high standards - this was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I ever stayed in. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and accommodating - especially the reception staff . Food - we didn't avail of breakfast or the half board evening meals... but we did have lunch in the poolside bar a few times, and it was excellent quality, and reasonably priced. They also have a fantastic wine list!

Struttura esteticamente appariscente ma inospitale.Per raggiungere la camera dovevo camminare alcuni minuti nei lunghi corridoi,dove era no sistemati fiori FINTI ,.mancavano le televisioni a pagamento ,immagino per risparmiare .Personale nuovo senza esperienza nè professionalità (gli unici efficienti appartenevano alla vecchia guardia ).Direttore italiano che per captatio benevolentiae mi saluta come fossi suo cugino ,vorrebbero essere l'emanazione degli alberghi di Maiorca ,palazzi a 10 piani tipo colonia ragazzi (la proprietà è spagnola ) ,insomma un tipo di location superata e non degna della famosa HOTELLERIE EUROPEA di livello alto .Delusione assoluta che sconsiglierò facendo opera di utile informazione .

Innen Pool konnte man nur gegen Gebühr von € 25 benutzen, Aussen Pool war kalt !!! Mit einer Solaranlage heizen, Umweltfreundlich und Sonnenstunden gibt es genug auf Sardinien.
