Great house in Lagos
A great place to have a holiday. Its house is spacious, has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. With 3 terraces and a shared pool. Quiet location and close to the beach. The city and supermarket is a 20-minute walk away. On arrival mother of Eugenia was waiting for us showed everything and explained in Portuguese. Nespresso device was defective but this was solved right away. The only thing less for us were the beds they are very hard. Had a very good holiday! Thank you very much

Nice, spacious villa near the sea
This villa is a very spacious and nice place to be. The garden is also lovely and the pool is a nice add-on. Some of the appliances, like the coffee machine, don't work flawlessly but all in all we've had a very good stay here. The location is great: a peaceful neighborhood but close to the beach and also in walking distance of the city center.

Prima verblijf
Leuk verblijf en erg netjes. Alles prima in orde. Enige minpuntje was dat alle keuken spullen zoals zout peper etc de gebruikelijke leftovers die gasten altijd wel achter laten ontbraken. Ook handdoeken en beddengoed op eigen initiatief na wat zoekwerk vervangen. Instructieboekje war alles ligt en hoe eea werkt zou handig zijn geweest. Gril van oven geeft kortsluiting, dus niet gebruiken

Wat een fijne plek, een heerlijk huis ,alles is aanwezig .We hebben een fantastische weken ,gehad!
Een heerlijke plek ,heerlijk zwembad , bij zonder vriendelijk ontvangen door eigenaren !Werkelijk alles is aanwezig in de keuken ,linnengoed is echt uitstekend verzorgd.Goed bereikbaarheid naar het strand ,Stad. En haven. we komen zeker terug na deze fantastische weken!

Comfortable Algarve villa near the ocean
This villa was comfortable for six people, at a very reasonable cost, and a great location, with a 5 min. walk to the beach and ten minutes from the old city. It felt secure, with off street parking in a quiet neighborhood, near the marina and train station. The villa doesn't have central heat but two portable heaters were provided that were definitely needed in mid-March. Communication with the on site host would have been easier had our Portuguese been better, but we were able to communicate with the owner via email.

Très bien situé
Nous étions à Lagos pour une semaine seulement. Nous aurions apprécié avoir un minimum, par exemple savon vaisselle, sel, poivre. Nous avons dû acheter les choses et laissé là. Il manquait de chauffage, nous avons eu froid. Mais malgré les inconvénients la région est magnifique, je retournerais sans hésitation au même endroit.

Hieno piha ja uima-allasalue
Kaikki oli muuten aivan kuin esitteessä, paitsi että saapuessamme oli vastassa ilmeisesti vuokraajan vanha äiti, joka osasi ehkä viisi sanaa englantia. Oli yllätys, koska kirjeenvaihto vuokraajan kanssa oli sujunut hyvällä englannilla. Emme oikein saaneet mitään irti portugalinkielisestä selityksestä! Mutta muuten kaikki ok. Loppua kohti (Marraskuu) alkoi kyllä yöt olla tosi viileitä eikä mitään lämmitystä käytössä.

The best holiday we had in Portugal

Walking to the Ocean and to Lagos for sightseeing, nice Restaurants and the possibility for making activities without a car, was great for ist. The Trip with the Train to Faro was nice too. Sehr schönes und geräumiges Haus mit Pool
Sehr schönes Haus, voll ausgestattet, sehr gute Lage : 10 minuten zu Fuß zum Strand und ca. 20 Minuten zur Marina. Wir haben den Pool sehr genossen. Wir würden die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen.

Das Haus war prima zu fünft. Viel Platz durch die Terrasse, den Innenhof und den Poolbereich. Durch das Türchen zum Pool, prima für Familien mit kleinen Kindern geeignet.

Great location but very tired property
We stayed in this linked house for 3 weeks in January 2023 to live & work under bluer skies than the UK. The owner's Mother was pleasant and welcomed us. It is a great location and a short walk to Meia Praia beach with a lovely, well kept outside area which would be a great asset in the summer months and a roof terrace with a lovely view. Unfortunately the house is very dated and has no heating or air con. apart from some electric heaters which caused the electrics to trip if we used more than one at a time. The house felt permanently cold and damp and the 4'6" mattress was uncomfortable. The constant tripping even from boiling a kettle made it hard to work as we had to wait for the Wi Fi to reboot every time. We informed the owner of the issues and insisted an electrician visit. I told him through Google translate we felt the very old oven was probably causing a problem on the kitchen circuit but were told by the owner's Mother to cook on the hobs and not turn on too many electrical appliances at the same time! He performed no safety checks. Eventually we managed to work out a system to keep warm during the cold evenings and nights but were rather concerned about the general safety of the the electrics. For holidaymakers looking for a walkable location to Lagos centre who are happy to accept tired furnishings, old fashioned decor, will spend most of their time outside and eat out regularly it is fine. If this property is ever renovated it will be absolutely perfect.

Car required
Due to the location of the property you will need a car if you have any mobility issues. It is a 20 minute walk to the marina and a further 10 or so to the town. Also 20 minutes to the supermarket but had to get a taxi back with the shopping. Nice comfortable beds and the property has everything you need in the kitchen. Unfortunately on 1 of the electricity outlets worked. Nice pool and surrounding area, just be aware that there are a few steep steps to reach it and to get in and out of pool.

Correu tudo muito bem. A casa tem boas comodidades, o jardim e área exterior é ótima. A piscina, apesar de partilhada com mais 2 casas, é muito boa, e nunca houve problemas nessa partilha. A casa é tal como apresentada nas fotografias disponíveis. Muito boa localização, numa zona calma, sem carros. Meia praia e marina de lagos a 10-15 min a pé. Supermercados a 5 min de carro. O único pequeno problema é o check-out ser às 10h da manhã, um pouco cedo para arrumar tudo a tempo.

Ein wunderbarer Ort und ein tolles Haus
Verreist als Familie hatten wir viel Ruhe und durch das geräumige Haus auch viel Platz, um auszuruhen und zu entspannen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist gut, es ist alles da, was eine Familie braucht. Die Bilder des Inserates entsprechen auch der tatsächlichen Situation vor Ort. Es gibt mehrere Sitzmöglichkeiten (Wohnzimmer, innenliegender Patio, 2 große Tische auf der Sonnenterrasse und Sitzecke, Dachterrasse), so dass Witterung und Wärme in Abhängigkeit der Tageszeit jeweils individuell Rechnung getragen werden kann. Die Terrasse hat bestimmt mehr als 70qm Fläche. Trotz 6 Liegen und drei Sitzgelegenheiten ist ausreichend Bewegungsfreiheit da, was wirklich toll ist. Der Pool wird gemeinschaftlich mit den Nachbarhäusern genutzt. Während unseres dreiwöchigen Aufenthalts war das kein Problem. Alle haben Rücksicht aufeinander genommen, sich abgewechselt und damit war auch am Pool familiäre Privatsphäre gegeben. Die Lage ist unschlagbar, zumal unsere großen Kinder auch mit waren und durch die Fussläufigkeit in die Altstadt auch gut allein und ohne Notwendigkeit eines Autos unterwegs sein konnten. Hervorheben möchte ich den super freundlichen Kontakt zur Vermieterin und ihrer Mutter. Es war ein schönes Gefühl von zu Hause und Willkommen zu sein. Das Objekt und mehr noch die Gastgeber empfehlen wir absolut weiter. Ana

Good size villa for a family
The villa was clean tidy with lots of room. The garden was full of flowers and six sun beds. The pool was a good size, with room to sit around it. We choose to eat near the marina or Lagos about a 15 min walk. There are restaurants nearer. Also a lovely sandy beach.

Great location and comfortable villa
The villa exceeded our expectations - it is in a quiet location but only a short walk to the beach or marina and into town. We didn’t hire a car this time and didn’t feel as though we missed out. It is well equipped - everything we needed was here including pool towels as well as plenty of normal towels, the kitchen also had everything including a couple of coffee machines. There is very good Wi-fi - important for the teenagers! We have enjoyed the use of the pool which was more or less a private one as although other villas did use it we didn’t use it at the same times. Eugenia was brilliant at answering my few questions and booking, checking in / out was simple. We’ve had a great 10 days and would come back.

Beautiful! Perfect!
Geni House is a beautiful home from home. There is a huge amount of various living space, clean comfortable and generous bedrooms, fully equipped bathrooms and kitchen. It’s the perfect place for a family holiday. Thank you Eugénia it was a brilliant place to stay!!
