It is well equipped with: living / dining room with 1 sofa double bed, and 1 single bed, flat screen TV, WiFi, air conditioning, kitchen with fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, washing machine Iron and coffee Express machine and a clothesline.

It offers guests a communal pool, a poolside bar and free parking at the rear.

The apartment has the advantage of a good location near the beachesmany bars and restaurants nearby, phamacy, bakery and supermarkets.

The complex is located in a quiet area with several nearby beaches and is 800 m, 10 minutes walk from Oura Beach, 600 meters, 10 minutes walk from Forte de S. Beach João and 900 meters from Aveiros beach. Guests can find Continente and Pingo Doce supermarket 250 meters away, or a 6-minute drive away.

There is a taxi rank and links to the public transport network. The apartment is located 15 minutes walk from Albufeira's old town.

The train station is 10 km from Ferreiras, and Faro Airport is about 35 km away. There is a golf course (in Salgados), situated between Albufeira and Armação de Pera, located 15 minutes by bus or 10 minutes by car.

Description of the apartment: English

The one bedroom apartment on the ground floor was tastefully decorated with a modern touch. It is well equipped with: living / dining room with 1 sofa bed and 1 single bed, flat screen TV, air conditioning, kitchen with fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery, anywashing machine.

It offers the guests a swimming pool, a poolside bar and a communal parking space outside. The apartment has the advantage of a good location, close to the tourist strip in Oura with many bars, shops and restaurants nearby.

The complex is located in a quiet area with several nearby beaches. It is located 800 meters from the Oura Beach, (10 minutes walk), 600 meters from Forte S. John and 900 meters from the Aveiros beach. Guests will find a supermarket 250 meters away, and there is a 6-minute trip by bus to the main supermarkets Continent and Pingo Doce.

The railway station is 10 km in Ferreiras, and the Faro Airport is about 35 km away. We hebben het goed naar ons zin gehad. Winkels en restaurants op loop afstand van enkele minuten. Supermarkt Aldi +/- 10 minuten. Appartement was goed en schoon.

Dit apartment heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Prima slaapkamer met een lekker bed. Een extra bed in de Huiskamer en een goede bank. Zeer zorgzame en vriendelijke eigenaresse, die regelmatig informeert of er iets nodig is. Bij het conplex ligt een prima zwembad en het appartement heeft een leuk klein tuintje waar je heerlijk in kunt zitten. Strand en diverse restaurants op loopafstand.

we hebben een erg fijn verblijf gehad! We hadden erg fijn en makkelijk contact met onze host die ons gelijk hielp als er iets aan de hand was, we waren er heel tevreden over!

De woning was netjes ingericht en schoon. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

De woning was schoon en netjes ingericht met compleet ingerichte keuken incl wasautomaat. Halverwege de week werd het appartement schoongemaakt en voorzien van nieuwe handdoeken. Airco, Wifi en tv aanwezig. Rondom complex ook goed schoon, ook bij het aanwezige zwembad. Rustig complex geen last van geluidsoverlast. Strand en uitgaansgelegenheden op 5 tot 10 min loopafstand. Kortom het was een geslaagde vakantie.

Great apartment in perfect location

The apartment has everything you need, all cooking utensils and cleaning utilities are included and function great. The place is clean and tidy as well as the pool outside. It’s a nice, chill environment, sun beds by the pool are always available and there’s not too much noise at night (11pm quiet policy) Location was perfect, 10min walk to Oura beach, 5min walk to the new strip, 25min walk to the old town, and 10/15mins walk from supermarkets. Lourdes was a fantastic host, she provided all the information we needed and met all our needs, thank you for the great stay!!! 3

Well situated, got the job done BUT and that's a BIG BUT !

It was a challenge finding the property. The exact location was not given initially. Luckily we had a phone number and were able to speak to someone when we were close by. The shower area and wall tiles were disgusting and full of mold. We took pictures. The shower curtain was black with mold on the bottom. It must have been there for years. Cleaning bucket and mop was stored in the dining area so we never used that area. Based on this, we avoided using the kitchen for health reasons. We thought VRBO had standards, but they are definitely lacking here. Two coffee pods were left in the kitchen but not for the coffee maker provided. No beach towels were provided, for being so close to the beach. Bed was comfortable but tucked against the wall giving you only one way to get out. There was no hair dryer, there were no spices in the kitchen contrary to advertisement (not that we cared as we decided not to use the kitchen as previously mentioned). There was no soap or shampoo provided contrary to advertisement. I would not recommend this place.

Another great stay at Maria’s!

We stayed here last August and liked it so much, we came back!! The apartment is compact, but has everything we needed for a great holiday. A double bed in the bedroom, a double sofa bed and a single bed in the living room and a bathroom & kitchen. Storage is quite limited, a small wardrobe or some shelving would be a welcome addition. The apartment complex is great, with a nice swimming pool which the kids loved. Maria is a fantastic host who is kind and caring. We had an issue with the air-con which was promptly fixed. Maria called a handyman and the housekeeper to ensure that it was quickly resolved- she said in a message that she was concerned about the hot nights and the children. We would highly recommend this place and Maria!!

Not as expected

Apartment was a lot smaller than expected. There were only towels left for 1 person even though the booking was for 2, didn’t get more until our 3rd day even though we reported it on our arrival. There are no wardrobes in the apartment and no ironing board or shampoo as stated on the website. Bedroom has a dressing table but you can’t get to it as the gap between that and the bed is too small. No window in it so very dark and no aircon in it either. Outdoor furniture - glass table falling apart and legs rusting and one of the chairs was broken. Door lock needs replacing as we almost got locked in. Very tired areas in kitchen and bathroom. Aircon unit covered in black dirt when open. Flies in the bathroom and rest of the apartment. Had to keep spraying them. Maria did send someone round but they only sprayed outside. Gave up! The pool area is a bonus with sun beds and parasols, pool bar was shut. Location is good. Only a short walk to the strip and Uber is quick and cheap if you need to go to the Old Town. Location on website is way out and needs updating. Maria gave the correct details.

Albufeira vacation

The property was clean and neat when we arrived. The outside areas are very well maintained. Maria the owner was always very helpful and courteous. The problems we had were with the VRBO app. There was no way I could find to do an attachment to be sent to the owner.

Internet/wifi needs to be stronger. Mattress on twin bed needs to be replaced. Washing machine has mold on internal gasket (most people forget to scrub this regularly) which makes clothes smell bad. Air conditioner has mold on vents. Excellent, helpful host!

Good base to explore nearby areas

Great location to have as a base to drive to the nearby beaches or to check out parts of Albuferia. The apartment offered umbrellas and chairs for use. I appreciated that it had a washing machine as I was in the middle of a trip and was able to have clean clothes. It also has a complete kitchen if you want a break from eating out. The only thing missing was a hair dryer (minor).

Long stay winter 2024

We were pleased with the location… great for walking everywhere. For long stay not really well equipped…a few things need to be upgraded. With having the owner out of country harder to have things fixed if needed. It says in the write up cleaning weekly…. Not true, only if you request it and pay. This should be made very clear.
