'This is an old, tired hotel in need of renovation. Also the late shift staff is anything but helpful. For one, this hotel has no lift which is a pain if you arrive with heavy luggage, and the evening staff decides to give you a second floor room, and subsequently doesn't offer to help you carry the heavy luggage upstairs. Then, for a multiple night stay, the staff only activated my keys for one night and then blamed 'some technical failure'. They don't take responsibility, they offer no...

'The room was massive, even bigger than the picture made us think. Great waterpressure in the shower and nice beds. The location is near several highways and it offers easy access to both the city as wel as Peggy's Cove. Nice pool and good breakfast as well. Only downside was that housekeeping on our floor was only at the end of the afternoon (around 4 pm) which can be a bit late when traveling with a young child.'

'We were a group of 10 ladies, so 5 rooms booked. The staff was very friendly, check in was a breeze, our cars were parked for us. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and a nice option of wines to purchase if you left yours behind. We enjoyed the garden patio during happy hour, they even supplied blankets to those with a chill as the sun set. We had breakfast at the hotel, option of the buffet or order from the menu, the staff was lovely. Highly recommend this hotel.'
