'I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. The staff and hotel owner were great and made sure no request was too much - they were really friendly and helpful, arranging trips to the Alhambra. The food in the hotel...

'Beautiful apartment in the heart of it all. Very easy check in/out with great communication. Apartment has everything you need to be comfortable and is quiet. Beds were very nice. One thing to note is this street is an uphill walk from the main part of town. There are buses if you can’t make the walk or easy to get a taxi for around 5-6. Highly recommend and would stay again. '

'Net hotel. Mooie kamer en uitgebreide badkamer. Zeer goed ontbijt. Diner helaas in zelfde ruimte, ongezellig, daarom geen gebruik van gemaakt. Oude stad ligt op 10 minuutjes lopen, bergafwaarts. Terug met taxi kost €6. Zeer dicht bij Alhambra: ideale ligging dus. '

'We stayed in this hotel for four nights. The location is simply unbeatable! The hotel is situated on the 'Cuesta de Gomérez, 14', which is the road to walk up to the Alhambra. So if you stay in this hotel don’t take the Bus but walk uphill. It is a very easy walk. The furniture of the hotel is a bit worn out, but we didn’t mind.
