Memorable stay!
We had a wonderful family vacation at Le Four des Bans, thanks to our wonderful host. Laurence was most gracious and understanding of the trials of travel and went out of her way to make our stay as lovely as it could have been. This is a magnificent property, well equipped and suited for families and groups. We appreciated relaxing, cooking, dining, and swimming, all of the things we hoped to enjoy on this trip. The home is in a good location, even better once we realized just how close it was to the centre ville! We look forward to returning to this property again in the future!

Wonderful Stay
Laurence is an absolutely wonderful host and Le Four des Banes is a wonderful property! She made our group of 5 feel so welcome. She was patient with our questions and requests and her recommendations were spot on. Her Bed and Breakfast is beautiful and conveniently located. We were able to hop the bus and 15/20 minutes later were in the heart of Aix-en-Provence. We rented the whole home but I would come back and just rent one room. Breakfast with local yogurt, jams and fruit from Laurence's trees along with fresh bread and pastries started the day off perfectly. I can't recommend this property high enough. Thank you Laurence1

Wonderful way to experience AIX!
What a great time we had staying at this beautiful B&B and Laurence went out of her way to make our stay super special! She is an amazing host and we loved waking up everyday to the smell of hot coffee and a wonderful french breakfast with pastries, cheese and fruits from her trees! She also took us to her favorite boutique in town and we were able to buy some local fashion. The farmhouse is beautifully done and so comfortable. We felt like we were staying with close friends but with all the convenience of staying in a hotel. Laurence also gave us the best recommendations on what to see and do, which really helped in planning our days. We would definitely recommend staying here and if we go back to AIX we will stay again! Thanks Laurence for making out trip to AIX so amazing! Steve, Melissa, Bob and Sandra

An absolute must!
We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Le Four des Banes. It is a beautiful property, an easy drive from Aix centre ville, less than 10 minutes. The room was charming, clean and included air conditioning and a comfortable bed. My husband enjoyed swimming in the pool every night. Laurence was a lovely host who helped us with maps and brochures for Aix and nearby attractions. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast outside each morning. Our only disappointment is that this is the last year that Laurence will operate the place as a bed and breakfast. In the future she will let out the entire home as a vacation rental. It would be our dream to come back again to rent the entire house with friends. Thank you Laurence!!

Highlight of our trip
We stayed at three different places during our journey to Provence and Four des Banes was by far our favorite! Laurence is such a warm and welcoming host, her place is gorgeous and has everything you need. Her breakfasts were amazing. The pool is great and the location is very close to town. Overall it was a wonderful experience, highly recommended!.

A wonderful hidden gem in Aix en Provence
Our stay here was wonderful! Laurence was an amazing host and this beautiful proprty was perfect for our stay in Provence. I can't say enough about the excellent, warm and welcoming service that we received here. The accomodations were very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were absolutely fantastic!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our morning chats with Laurence and she took time each day to point us in the right direction, always offering wonderful suggestions of things to see in the area. After we checked out, Laurence discovered that of the women traveling with us forgot some things in the closet so she kindly mailed them to our hotel in Burgundy. She went above and beyond in every way to make our trip to France thoroughly enjoyable. Can't wait to go back!!!!

Amazing!
This property is amazing. It feels remote and relaxing while still being a 5 minute drive to downtown. The rooms are perfectly appointed and access to the pool is great. Breakfast was so nice and very personalized by Laurence. Laurence was SO helpful and nice. Truly feels like home! We hope to be back!

Among the most wonderful, unique, and relaxing places we have ever stayed on holiday!
Les Fours des Banes, a beautifully designed villa on the outskirts of Aix-de-Provence, was designed and built by its owner and charming, vibrant hostess Laurence. The villa is built around the remains of an old Roman oven, and Laurence provides a wonderful breakfast in its spacious dining room and adjoining kitchen each morning, as well as providing guests with expert advice on places to see, routes to take, materials on Provence's many fascinating artistic, historic, and scenic sites. The guestrooms are individually designed and very well equipped with features of the kind one finds in 4-star hotels. A great feature is that Laurence permits guests to access the lovely dining room and kitchen facilities at other points in the day than for breakfast. The setting, on the outskirts, of Aix de Provence is private, pastoral, and wonderfully situated to make day-trips in multiple directions. We stayed almost a week, and hated to leave. Thank you Laurence!

Best Stay Ever!
My 3 girlfriends and I stayed at Laurence Biancotto's B&B Le Four des Banes recently for my birthday trip. I don't believe I've ever had such a wonderful stay anywhere. First of all, Laurence is a wonderful host. She provided us with the most spectacular breakfast each morning and spent time talking with us and helping us with our plans for the day. She was available for anything we needed during our 5 day stay. The B&B was beautiful, comfortable and immaculate. I highly recommend anyone traveling to Aix to stay here. It is a short distance into town and the bus stop is right at the top of her drive...couldn't be more convenient. If I ever get the opportunity to return to Provence, i will stay at Laurence's B&B!

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast in Provence
Laurence's Bed and Breakfast was the perfect place to stay during our trip to Provence! It was charming and centrally located to all we wanted to do. Laurence was a fabulous host and took the time each morning to help us map out our itinerary and gave helpful suggestions as to the most scenic roads and additional add on's we could fit into our day. Laurence provided us with a delicious breakfast each morning and was available for any needs we had throughout our stay. The Bed and Breakfast itself was clean, spacious, comfortable, well appointed, nicely landscaped and had a lovely pool for a mid-day cool off. I stayed with my husband and 14 year old daughter and we all enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again. I highly recommend it to all who are staying in the area.

Nice bed and breakfast
We booked two rooms in the B&B and stayed there for two nights. The B&B was super clean, well equipped and had a pleasant charm of a farm house. The breakfast was also good. Lawrence was a great host. She accommodated all our needs including late check-in, allowing us to use the kitchen, and helping us with the luggage. She also provided us sightseeing tips of the area. The challenging part for me was the narrow track that leads to the B&B. It took some practice to get use to it.
