At 800 meters from the Agrigentine beaches and the promenade of San Leone, a few minutes from the Valley of the temples and the historic center of Agrigento.
It was completely renovated in July 2017 and elegantly furnished in all its spaces. The two bedrooms are equipped with double beds with comfortable memory foam mattresses, air conditioning and 32 "LED TV. The living room is furnished with a fitted wall, 40 "LED TV and a comfortable double sofa bed. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, dishes and everything you need to make your breakfast and meals. The house has an elegant bathroom with corner shower and hair dryer and is also equipped with a washing machine, iron and ironing board. There is also a sea view balcony and a small terrace where you can stay, furnished with sofas, tables, chairs and gas barbecue for your outdoor barbecues.
It is possible to walk to the center of San Leone which is about 800 meters away. rent cars, motorcycles, bicycles or move around by public transport. The area is served by a bus stop at 50 meters. You can take advantage of the medical guard service which is only 40 meters away. At 300 meters from the house there are the supermarket, the butcher, the bakery, the tobacconist, a restaurant and two pizzerias. At 900 meters, the pharmacy is also open on Sundays, the post office, the rotisserie, the stationery store and the church of San Pio X. It is possible to park for free under the house.
In Agrigento you can visit the wonderful Valley of the temples, its numerous archaeological sites, the Kolymbetra garden, the historic center with its ancient buildings, the Pirandello theater, the cathedral of San Gerlando, the ancient church of Santa Maria dei Greci ( built over a Greek temple still visible inside), the monastery of Santo Spirito (also famous for the delicious almond cakes for sale, prepared by the cloistered nuns), the Diocesan museum, the Lucchian library and much more.
The apartment is also located a few minutes from the wonderful Scala dei Turchi beach and close to the most beautiful beaches on the coast (Giallonardo, Siculiana, Bovo Marina, Eraclea Minoa, WWF nature reserve of Torre Salsa).
Just 5 km from Porto Empedocle, the beloved "Vigata" of Commissioner Montalbano di Camilleri, from which you can embark, even by hydrofoil, to the islands of Linosa and Lampedusa, where you can admire the most beautiful beach in the world (so classified by TripAdvisor), that of the Island of Rabbits.
From the small port of San Leone you can make beautiful boat excursions or guided dives.
It is possible to spend the evenings full of fun of the Movida Agrigentina which takes place along the promenade and the coast of San Leone in the beach clubs, in the historic Via Atenea or Viale della Vittoria, where you can taste excellent dishes, drinking, dancing and listening to live music. For your shopping I recommend going to via Atenea, the center of the most prestigious Agrigentini shops, or to the nearby new Concordia shopping center.
