'We stayed at the hotel last week. Despite previous reviews, we experienced our stay as very pleasant, both the hotel and the surroundings met our expectations.
The hotel is a great base for the Prudential Center and for NYC!'

'Overpriced parking ($60 per night - Mar 2026), small beds in rooms, small refrigerator in room, no microwave in rooms, must have key card to access elevator, staff were rude. This hotel does however offer easy access to Newark Penn Station subway, and had several good choices open during portions of the day. The restaurant onsite was very expensive and did not offer many choices. The parking is quoted as covered parking, however, there was limited garage parking, the rest was outside....

We arrived midnight and got an upgrade which was highly appreciated.

'Pretty dirty. The guy was nice but the room was awful and smelled like smoke. Everything was gross, + in a dingy basement. Sorry to be harsh. I would say anyone apart from me would not be okay staying there'

'The house and room were filthy. The owner was rude and could care less that the images in the description are a misrepresentation of what the conditions actually were. The toilet didn’t work and there was trash on the floor and she said that I’d have to “deal with it” because of the low price. '

'The room was clean, bed comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly. The only problem that I had was the mobility accessible room has bars in the step in shower and no shower seat. I had to request a shower seat. No toilet seat risers were available. Just regular toilet seat. No bars to hold onto in toilet seat area to help you get up from the toilet commode. '
