'Stayed at Retallack for 3 nights and really liked the setting, design and facilities of the room/studio. The location is a little remote, but that's part of the experience :-) The Surfsuite which we booked has a funny layout as you enter through the bedroom - as in the front door opens towards the bed. 'Our stay here was great & would recommend staying at the Caroe Farmhouse. The host was very warm, generous, helpful and informative. The room was spacious with a good sized bathroom and very clean. Breakfast was realy good. '

'Lovely little cottage, well equipped . Friendly hosts. Really appreciated the welcome pack with Milk , teabags, biscuits etc , thank you 😍 Parking space is a bit tricky to access via a narrow drive , but not enough to stop us wanting to go back . Jack and Jill bathroom accessed from both bedrooms but one of the doors didn't lock properly so if travelling as friends need to know when the other is in the bathroom 😂 Overall really loved it here and would definitely go again '

'We loved the Thomas Hardy connection, the history and the stories that Chris told us about the location and history. We loved the friendly atmosphere, warm welcome, and we felt more like family than tourists. 'A BEAUTIFUL hotel. We stayed as part of a larger tour of Cornwall and our stay here was leaps and bounds above the rest. So many nice touches a arrival treat, hot chocolate and journey home treats!! Staff are wonderful and the room is WONDERFUL!!!!'
