'OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. 'From start to finish our stay was truly exceptional. We felt very privileged to stay in such a magnificent home!! Everything was truly 1st class, from the beautiful suite we stayed in, the incredible breakfast washed down with bubbly (how decadent) and two of the most generous, warm, interesting and welcoming couple you could ever meet. 'Nice hotel for a romantic getaway, conveniently located within walking distance to the center of Hastings. We felt very welcome, enjoyed the garden and the view over Hastings, as well as the little extras (warm chocolate with marshmallows in the evening!). Also very good breakfast with a broad range of choices. '

'Het verblijf was aangenaam. Ondanks de veel studenten en conferrentie gangers.. De douche op de kamer was matig. Geen TV. Verder was de kamer schoon en aanwezig was ook een hardroger, waterkoker, Koffie, thee enz. Het ontbijten was uitstekend. Twintig min. te voet naar Canterbury en treinstation west.'

'It was a lovely place to stay in the middle of nowhere. Nice room, though not terribly big, and disappointing that there was only a hand shower over the bath. Apart from that everything lovely, thick towels and dressing gowns, duvet was SO cosy. Fresh coffee and cafetiere in the room - breakfast was amazing.'
