'Our stay at Hills & Hues, Thekkady was an awesome experience. Nestled amidst the lush greenery of the Western Ghats, the property offers breathtaking views that can be enjoyed right from the rooms. Waking up to mist-covered hills and panoramic landscapes each morning was both relaxing and rejuvenating. The staff deserve special recognition for their warm hospitality, friendliness, and attentiveness. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and went out of their way to ensure our...

'Hotel rooms/lodges are spread in a big garden. It is good quality but to expensive. Problem is you don't have much choice if you want quality in Thekkady.
Food is good. Staff in reastaurant a bit unfriendly. (cooks are good and friendly)
You have a nice swimmingpool and a bar with big Pool table.
Most amazing thing was in January just after sunrise thousand of FOX bats (1 meter big) are flying low over the trees. Sit at swiming pool have a beer and watch the sky.

'We stayed here because the description says 1 minute walk from Peryvar Reserve, it is not. 15 to 20 mins out of Kumily up a very bumpy track.
No atmosphere at all.
No yoga offered.
Evening meal not good, I complained but ignored. Chef shouting in the kitchen.
Pool green.
Restaurant service not good at all.
The best feature is the great taxi driver who works for the hotel. Although it was a VERY expensive service.
Check the details before you book. '

'The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, and they also helped organize additional activities, which was appreciated. However, the breakfast spread was quite limited and could be improved. We also noticed that the bedsheets were not properly clean during check-in, which affected the first impression of the stay.'

'There is no air conditioning. Complete lack of service. Evening meal was limited and appalling. Breakfast was toast or an omelette and no menu. We had to find a member of staff to enquire about breakfast. We appeared to be the only guests. We would not stay here again. Had we paid £20 a night it may have been worth it but not at the £120 that we paid. We had booked 4 nights on a non refundable deal and had hoped that this would be the highlight of our trip. We stayed for 1 night only as we were...
