'Great property right on the beach that we’ve been coming to off/on for the last 10 years. Love the location & the proximity to local restaurants. Our only issue was with housekeeping. I understand that it’s done every other day or as needed, but for the price point it should be maintained regularly. We had an ocean front room & during our stay it was not cleaned during regular hours. Housekeeping didn’t come to our room till 330 pm right when we were getting ready to relax from being at the...

'This place needs lots of improvements and help. The room was deluxe king and the layout is good but cheaply built. Bathroom has no where to place any of your bathroom necessities. Pool was not open first day due to failure of inspection but did open next day. The 2nd day of the pool opened it already had no towels. When it had towels 1st day they were just little bigger than a foot towel. Staff wondered around a little but didn’t do much. The poop trash for dogs was overflowing. It’s sad...

'The amenities were fantastic. It was nice to be able to walk right into the beach in the morning, spend the afternoon at the pool, and enjoy complimentary popcorn with the kids. The staff was fantastic and very accommodating when we arrived.'

'Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The hotel is pet friendly and welcoming to service animals, which was a big plus. One thing to know before visiting is that dogs are not allowed on the beach in Kill Devil Hills from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the summer. That’s a town rule, not the hotel’s policy, but it’s helpful to know.
