'Ik heb een week in Poppy's gelogeerd, het was er prima. Dit resort ligt, zoals de naam al zegt, aan een lagune met een privéstrandje en wat strandbedjes en kajaks. Er zijn 3 zwembaden, maar op het familiebad na, stellen die niet zoveel voor, ze zijn echter wel schoon. Er zijn verschillende accommodatiekeuzes, van ruime gezinsappartementen aan het strand tot aan standaard kamer in een klein gebouw wat meer naar achteren. Ik verbleef in 1 van deze kamers, wat wel betekende dat het een pittige klim...

'Very easy to water taxi back and forth to the main land (which might even be walkable at low tide). Room was clean and staff were all very hospitable.'

'Erg mooi hotel. Je slaapt in een huisje met een groot bed, fijne douche en een klein zwembad (bijna) voor de deur. Airco niet inbegrepen, wel bij te huren voor €10 per dag. Bij het hotel kun je een taxi met chauffeur huren voor een dag(deel) voor ongeveer €150. Wij waren met 4, dus een goede prijs. Let wel: bij alle bezienswaardigheden betaal je ‘entree’, dus uiteindelijk toch een duur grapje, maar zó de moeite waard!'

'It was excellent. Had a layover in Vanuatu and would definitely return for a longer holiday in the future. The staff were amazing and very helpful with local information and what to do in my limited time in country. The pool and restaurant were great. Would recommend. '

'The breakfast was pretty basic, but basically good enough. There were 4 kayaks, unfortunately 2 were missing storage covers so would likely fill with water. The other 2 did not have these storage areas so we're fine. The water is calm in this area making a paddle most enjoyable. Being a cyclists I was happy to read they had loaner bikes. I was disappointed to see the biggest of them were bmx type bikes. Better than nothing though so i checked them out to find some were missing parts, had flat...

'With the ocean at our bungalow door step this was our perfect secluded 5 day get away. A shop at Bon Marche on the way to our self contained bungalow to stock the pantry. A trip on the kayak over to Erakor Island Resort for an afternoon drink was also nice. Will definitely be returning.'

'Mariner Apartments were excellent in every way - the staff were friendly and so helpful, and nothing was too much to ask. The location was ideal, in the heart of Port Vila and so close to bars, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. and we were able to park our hire vehicle onsite with ease. The addition of washer and dryer was greatly appreciated, but all of the amenities and inclusions were great. Thank you to Elliot and his team at Mariner Apartments - we will be back!'

'The beach out the front was the highlight, amazing coral, fish and turtles. Was great as there was a stand up a paddle board, kayak and various rock shoes. Rooms are quite new, spacious and clean. Trent our host was lovely and the tuna sashimi and cocktails were the highlight. I wouldn’t say it’s is a 5 star resort as at times the food was a bit overcooked, our bedroom blind was missing and no aircon (which wasn’t an issue) so windows may be open for bugs to enter. 'De bookingsites geven niet echt de werkelijkheid weer van de te boeken tenten. Deze vond ik niet echt geweldig. Ik heb toen een kamer gekregen. Deze kamer was niet schoongemaakt en de hele week is dat ook zo gebleven, waarom weet ik niet.....het is een prachtige omgeving, het mooiste plekje van het eiland. De lokale mensen die er werken zijn echt fantastisch. Tis een aanrader !! '

'Flavi & Chris manage this resort very well. Our apartment overlooked the lagoon so it was beautiful to step right on the sand during low tide and borrow a kayak or snorkel from the resort during high tide. We had a wonderful stay. Easy parking onsite. Def recommended and we will stay here again if we visit next. '
