'Second time staying here. Excellent little hotel just outside Chamonix, quietly set near the river in the forest with great views of the Aiguille du Dru. Friendly, welcoming. Comfortable room, a triple which was effectively two rooms with lots of space. Nothing too grand but very comfortable and clean, with a balcony. The only challenge is the narrow stairs (no lift). Good buffet breakfast. And, they now serve dinner; interesting menu of good food, though a bit expensive maybe. Although not...

De kamer is groot genoeg voor 2 met eigen badkamer en fijne, grote, zachte handdoeken. Uitzicht geweldig op de MontBlanc, en andere bergen. Mooi panoramiese ontbijtruimte. Goed ontbijt met ruime keuze en lekkere koffie. Sfeervolle lounge. Parkeerruimte bij hotel en grote tuin. Goede prijs-kwaliteit...

'We booked last minute due to a booking error with a chain hotel. We’re very very happy with the result. The Labrador was quiet (it’s a little away from the bustle of Chamonix town; the early morning view of the mountains over the golf course was breath taking. The staff at reception were excellent providing robes and extra towels for the hot tub. We loved our stay here. Public parking in Chamonix in spring was pretty easy to find and not that expensive. '

'This is a wonderful hidden gem of a hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the food wonderful (highly recommend doing one of the excellent set menus for dinner!) and the staff was exceptional. Ms. Farini went far out of her way to return an item I had left behind in the room, and I am eternally grateful for her assistance! The hotel is a short distance from downtown Chamonix, but the peaceful surroundings and accessibility via train, bus, or even walking make the extra distance seem like...

'Hospitality of owners is great, hotel is clean, beds are good, breakfast is great, but hotel is very outdated and needs major renovation to get to current standards, the garden is part of restaurant and is not ‘free’ part of the hotel to enjoy on your own, it feels like being part of the business.'
