'Very welcome from the start we came in at the reception. Nice excursion offert. The only thing that can be better is the service at the breakfast. A lot of things weren't filled. We saw the staff with 3 persons sitting and having their own food. When asked for what we missed, the faced looked bored and only stood up like a minute later. It wassen't that late during breakfast so is wasn't the end off breakfast yet. My advise would be to look constantly what is missing at the breakfast buffet so...

'Let's start with saying that this hotel is good value for money and the views over Lago Argentino are great. The location allows you to walk to the town center in 35 to 40 minutes, but a taxi only cost 2000 ARS. The rooms are a nice size. Ours had an extra 1 person bed, but some also have a sitting corner. Unfortunately we didn't get one of the rooms with balcony, although the strong prevailing winds probably would lessen the use. The bathroom was also a good size. Unfortunately there is no...

'Het hotel ligt zeer centraal, wij vinden dat ze wel hadden moeten vermelden dat er een festival in El Calafate was, en dat het festivalterrein maar op enkele tientallen meters van het hotel lag. Je kon dus niet vroeg gaan slapen en dat is vervelend als je om 7.15 uur word opgehaald voor een excursie, of als je om 7.20 uur op het vliegveld moet zijn'

'We had a ok stay. Rooms are very small but cosy. It’s clean and the beds are fine. It’s quite noisy so bring earplugs. There is a bridge at the end of the street which makes continuously a weird noice when cars across (aso at night) It’s 10-15 min walk to the mainstreet of El Calafate.'

'Don Pepe is a small hotel which is a bit out of the center. Waterpressure is not constant so showering is not very comfortable. Because the constitution of the hotel you can really hear everything that happens especially during breakfast its impossible to sleep because the diningroom in right in your hallway you can hear anything. Breakfast is very very poor! I would not recommend Don Pepe.'
