'From the outside,looks like a great resort but that was it. Room as big as it was is nice . No seats inside room so every time you want to sit down you have to sit on the bed . Luggage no place to pack or un pack other than the bed. Their is a nice table with a kettle and to lovey cups but nothing to put in the cup(coffee or tea) also no wher to plug in or sit down. Lots of staff but no atmosphere that you get in other resorts. Breakfast included, go else where greasy and cold. Last day stomach...

'The location is great, right at the beach, the staff is nice, the food was good but the rooms are not comfortable at all. For a price of more than 3000 PHP you would not expect a 1 square meter (10 square feet) bathroom. You you have to take a shower in the toilet bowl or sink'

'I spend 10 days in Marlin Beach resort and enjoyed it a lot. The rooms are bare but spacious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I arranged for the resort pick and drop off at Cebu airport and all went well and felt very comfortable as a single (female) traveler.'

'This place has a rat infestation. My parents were in one of the beachfront cottage and they saw a rat in their cottage. Unfortunately this was no surprise to the management as they admitted to complaints made by other guests for that cottage. We checked recent reviews and confirmed that other people have complained about this.
Due to this issue my wife and I barely slept the first night as we had our lights on to keep potential rats away. It is rather unfortunate as the property itself is...

'I’m sure it once was a beautiful property, but the maintenance has gone. Also, some of the amenities weren’t even open yet. We actually left the resort to go somewhere else for our day.'
