'Easy check and friendly staff. Rooms somewhat updated but not fully, regardless, the room we stayed in was very clean. We stayed during a winter storm and the staff did their best to stay on top of snow removal to make it easier for guests to get in and out of their rooms and drive in/out of the property. I would stay here again, hopefully in the spring/summer!'

'Dirt everywhere. Filthy. Stains on sheets, blankets, and pillows and curtains. Dead bugs, in light fixtures and cupboards. Oven looked like it was never cleaned. Holes in walls, furniture was broken, legs hanging off of night tables, table lamp electrical shock when touched. Broken shelves in bathroom. Bathroom not stocked with towels, and regular toiletries. Grimy stains on walls, moldy windows and no grout in shower. Wheelchair ramp not shovelled. Would not recommend and will not go back. '

'Nice hotel in the oldest part of Shelburne directly on the bay. Shops and restaurants at walkable distance. Newly updated ,very spacious room and friendly reception. Free coffee available outside our room. Walls are rather thin but no real problem during our stay.'

'The motel was exactly what you should expect from its rating. There are no real food options nearby other than Tim's and Subway. The toilet ran constantly unless you jiggled the handle, things were dusty so it was a quick clean. The cleaner must have been a smoker because the room smelled like cigarettes when we checked in but the smell was gone when we came back later that night. The bedding was in rough shape. 'The motel itself is cheap and cheerful, but the people who own/run it are amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was outstanding - one of the few places in Nova Scotia you can see a sunset over the ocean!!'

'Room was not clean. Floors were dirty. Main lobby was closed. Had to call a number to talk to someone to deliver towels. Staff only available at a certain time as they worked another job during the night. No breakfast available as was stated on the Expedia website. Unfortunately, I will not rebook this property. Disappointed as I stayed last summer and it was very nice. '
