'The house had an unpleasant odor, the kitchen pots were not very clean, and there were no blankets provided for sleeping, which was inconvenient. If the host could improve the cleanliness of the kitchen, freshen up the house, and ensure blankets are available, it would make the stay much more comfortable.'

'The photos and description are completely misleading. Photos are several years old from a realtor's listing in 2022 and apparently no upkeep has taken place since then. A few rooms were tolerably clean but there is exposed rat poison beside pots and pans, clutter and debris, half used food in the fridge and cupboards, etc., etc. We've filed a 9 page complaint with VRBO including lots of pictures asking for a refund. '

'The house is adorable with two decks big enough for four overlooking the water. We loved watching the boats in the water. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and having relaxing family dinners. The town of Oriental was only a few miles away with a well stocked Piggly Wiggly. We’d definitely recommend!'
