'Het motel is mooi gelegen aan de rivier. Er staan tafels en stoelen zodat je buiten kan zitten met zicht op de rivier. Er is ook een bbq die je mag gebruiken. De goedkoopste kamers zijn proper maar wel basic: een goede douche en airco, maar geen ijskast en microgolf.'

'Our family of three (5yo son) stayed here Mother’s Day weekend which was also the birthday weekend of our son! This place was absolutely magical! The location was perfect for us as it was a quick drive over Stevens Pass to Leavenworth where we spent most of Saturday. 'Great place for a family reunion or vacation or quiet private getaway '

'Cabin was cozy and well appointed, exactly as advertised. We stayed two nights and booked full meals each night. It was easy to find and close to packwood which was convenient, but it was far from hey 12 and felt remote and “cabin-y”.'

'My boyfriend and I found this unique space a PERFECT abode for us! It was incredibly well kept, spacious and had a sweet outdoor area to enjoy the local wildlife. We had the good fortune to see two deer and many boisterous birds from the comfort of the front porch. Such a cozy, welcoming home. Thank you so much for the wonderful space!'

'As with our previous visits, this one too was wonderful, even with an injured ankle. David was very good about checking to see how we were doing after I took a fall and ended up at the closest ER. He even paid us a visit the next day to offer any needed help. Because our flight back home wasn't for three more days, I fixed me a place in a recliner in front of the big picture window with a view of the river and mountains. What a restful place to be! Small, cozy and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Very thoughtful execution at every nook and cranny by the owners. 'A great little cabin, close enough to all the points of interest in the area for day trips. The proximity to the highway could be annoying to some, but it's not a very busy one and the cabin is otherwise a great place.'

'Great place to stay. A cautionary note to older travelers, the loft has a ladder for access. My wife and I choose to sleep downstairs to avoid any issues with climbing up and down several times a night. Anyone over 60 will understand. Just a pointer, the sign for the property is challenging to see at night.'

'Nelson base camp is unique in its layout, lots of history displayed throughout. Host provided comforts for us, including the wood ready for the fire, hot tub with plenty of towels. We rally enjoyed our stay!'
