He is very cordial and friendly and honest. There is a slight language barrier, but he tries his very best to give you the best experience. For the home, for the excursions. All absolutely amazing. If you ever need anything, just reach out to him, and you’ll be taken care of. I’m very grateful I stayed here.'

'The location at the top of the hill has amazing views of the Central Valley. The accommodations are basic but a welcome bottle of wine, snacks, butter and milk for coffee are nice touches. However, there is no air conditioning and the windows face due east. In the morning, that means bright sun directly into the sleeping space. There are aluminum blinds which help lessen the sunlight a bit, but unfortunately they rattle loudly if the wind blows and vents are open to let in fresh air. The biggest...

'We had a magical time here. A very short walk to the beach with an astounding view of the bay. The host and her assistant were so kind and very attentive. There are beach side restaurants 5 minutes away and it doesn't feel at all touristy. I strongly encourage anyone to check out this lovely guest house.'

'The view from this property is amazing. The distance to town was not bad. The food in the town of Montezuma was wonderful too. Peter was a great host and we had all that we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the covered patio watching the sun rise in the AM. And we took full advantage of the pool during the heat of the day. We will be back to visit for sure!!!'

'Wonderful, quiet, very well built and well thought through home in the jungle. Lots of animals to listen to and enjoy. The tub is wonderful after a long day surfing or exploring the jungle. Great wifi. Had many a video meeting and not one issue. Vince is easy to get in contact with and once you're checked in there's very little need to contact him. We will be back for sure.'

'On the property lives 2 roosters which are very loud (and beautifull). And you have to feed them otherwise they will scream non stop. They start to beg for food around 4 am. Plus there is no hot water in sinks which makes living very uncomfortable (no dishwasher as well). If you want to have a nice shower - forget about it! Showers have electrical warmers and you have to use small water presser to make it work. We got no hot water in both bathrooms when we arrived. Later shower was fixed in...

'My partner and I spent a week at the White Cottage... aka Ginger & Cacao. It was exactly what we were looking for and needed. The property really is carved out of the jungle and the gardens surrounding the cottage are absolutely beautiful. It was very clear to us that there was considerable thought in both designing and maintaining the gardens. 'We loved this house. It has a gorgeous view. We had access to a washer. There is a clothes line outside to dry the clothes. The clothes dried quickly as long as it didn’t rain. The air conditioning worked great upstairs. Like most Costa Rica rentals the air conditioning is just in the bedroom. Playa Conchal is our favorite beach. Not enough room to sleep 3 people comfortably, but perfect for a couple.'

The property is wonderful, we hiked it almost everyday following the many trails and finding plateaus with amazing views of Lake Arenal. Sitting on the patio having a favourite beverage, we listened to howler monkeys, saw white faced monkeys, and many species of birds including parrots and toucans. 'My husband and I had a great stay at Casita Cole from Feb1-April 5/2024 . Zindis was good to work with . Our house manager , Edgar is the greatest ! Any little issue we had he was right on it . 'We loved our stay!! Beach is 5 minutes away and this is up on a mountain so you have amazing views. Sunsets and ocean view were so gorgeous that my partner proposed right on our balcony!!!
