'We’ve stayed at the cabin with our dog four times and always enjoy our peaceful stay. It’s cozy, clean and private. Also, the Sherwood Shoppe - just down the road - is a wonderful place for breakfast, homemade chili and much more.'

'This property had an east facing deck overlooking the water with many eastern windows. It's a cozy place for a couple; a gas fireplace adds warmth and atmosphere. The kitchen is quite complete (no dishwasher), and it opens onto the deck. Very convenient right off of Rt 6, but we were far enough away that we didn't notice the traffic.'

'Our cottage was one of several on the same lot. We had plenty of privacy, it would be a great location for a family reunion as many families could have their own house. Our cottage was clean and well-equipped, on the water. It was too cold for us in early May, but the shared dock would be fun for canoeing and kayaking in the warmer months. Definitely a spot to return to.'

'This is a rustic, perfectly well outfitted cabin. Had everything that we needed in the kitchen. The beds and the couches were very comfortable. Bonus points for the well water being really soft and tasting good. It’s a sweet little spot. So grateful it is pet friendly!'

'Ron made the entire process very easy and was great to deal with! He was very accommodating for everything and goes out of his way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! According to previous reviews, this place was not the greatest in the past. Ron recently purchased this property and has been doing extensive renovations to the entire place and really turning things around! I think that in a little more time and a few more renovations, things will be even better!'

'We had wonderful weather and loved the Top sail cottage. We cooked on the grill and sat on the enclosed deck with our dog every day and enjoyed the water view. We plan on returning very soon.'
