'The Hawaiian Kane Cottage was great for the four of us. You feel like there is no one for miles around, which was not common in Hawaii. Other than the roosters, which seem to have no predators in Hawaii and don't always wait until dawn to crow. We were able to prepare a lot of our meals in the open kitchen and Mike set up the Weber grill which was great for us. 'Dale’s Vintage Farmhouse was just perfect. We stayed 8 days, using the farmhouse as our home base while we enjoyed the island. Our last day we rested at the farmhouse, just savoring the sights and sounds. Fresh squeezed oj, coquis chirping, gentle breezes blowing. We will truly miss this place.'

'My family (with three young children) stayed at this property for about a week over Christmas. It was absolutely lovely! The house is very well appointed, including an exceptional kitchen. Our host was gracious, kind, and quick with responses. She even decorated the interior and had lit up trees outside for the holiday. Certainly well above expectations. Everybody had a blast and we were sad to leave. I would absolutely stay at this property again when visiting the north shore of Maui.'

'Location is beautiful, easy access to Pāhoa and the ocean. Would definitely stay again; only thing we didn’t like was there were cameras everywhere including where the indoor recreation area is at. We understand the need for security but that part made it feel a little uncomfortable.'

'The house was perfect for us. It was the best equipped rental we have experienced. The house was located between two cute towns. The farm was very serene and peaceful but there were plenty of things to do in the area. We loved the goats who were more like dogs. They would run to the fence to be petted. 'Joan is an amazing lady who manages the farm barn and the entire farm where this is located. My family (including 2 kids, 3 and 7 yr olds) had a wonderful time staying there for 2 nights. Only con was that the internet was flaky and wouldn't work from our 2nd evening onwards.'
