'Bij het boeken aangegeven dat ik in een bepaalde kamer wilde verblijven en die hadden ze netjes gereserveerd. Fantastisch mooie, grote kamer met bad en aparte badkamer met douche. Mooie details in de kamer als handgeschreven teksten op de muur en ingelijste papercut kunstwerkjes. Een betoverend hoog fresco plafond en een fijn, groot bed. In een woord een fantastische kamer. In de gemeenschappelijke ruimte staan heerlijke snacks, thee en koffie en tegen een kleine vergoeding kan je frisdrank en...

'Ottantotto is a wonderful boutique hotel very close to Piazza Santo Spirito and easy walking distance to Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace. Very nicely decorated clean rooms and garden area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Instructions for access to the property are great. Would strongly recommend to stay in OLTRARNO (other side of the Arno) as this part of Florence is really nice and less touristic....AND close to all interesting sights!'

'Geweldig hotel (in een oud maar volledig gerenoveerd palazzo) in het centrum van Florence nabij de Ponte Vecchio en diverse piazza's. Ontbijt in fantastische binnentuin. Alle kamers "koninklijk" ingericht en sanitair van prachtig marmer. Prettige persoonlijke maar niet opdringerige aandacht voor de gasten...'

'Excellent location and friendly staff. Clean and pleasant room. However, You have to climb a very narrow and steep stairs to reach a room that fits 4/5 people. It is impossible task for older person or for someone not strong. It should be written in description. '

'Het was een leuke schone flat met heel aardig en behulpzame personeel aan receptie. Locatie was perfect met loopafstand tot centrum , winkels . Alleen tv was probleem want alles was in Italiaans en geen een Engels talige zender 😒'
