'Perfect location, but a pity that there was too much seaweed. The hotel does a lot to remove it, but in our case it was impossible to enter the water. Appartments are very nice, but when you are a light sleeper, ask for a room that is not close to the road behind. For us it was no problem. '

'The hotel is very pretty, so are the rooms. The prices for food are ridiculous however and not very good. We ordered traditional Mexican foods and they served it with sweet sauce! And then they still dare to over charge. Also the cabs that arrive at the hotel only try to rip off tourists. '

'The apartment was dirty and dusty. We were 3 people and didn’t get the 2 bedroom apartment because we wanted the one that had the private hot tub in the balcony which only had one bedroom and when we got in the place to be able to relax the hot tub was dirty and broken and I told them and they wouldn’t send anybody to come fix it. Also the dishes were dirty and the sink in the kitchen barely had water to wash dishes, the water in the shower was like salt water terrible, and no where to find...

'Wat een geweldig hotelletje. Aan het gezellig drukke doorgaande straatje in Tulum beach ligt dit zeer leuk ingerichte hotel. (Geen last vd straat) Kamer hebben zeer goede bedden, wij hadden een standaard kamer, met koelkastje. Wel wat weinig opbergruimte. Je loopt binnen een paar passen het strand op waar ze heerlijke ligstoelen en bedden hebben met parasols(gratis). Verder beschikken ze over een zeer goed restaurant. 'My stay was wonderful! The staff were WONDERFUL and extremely professional. Perfect location inside the Tulum National Park. I traveled there solo for some RnR and felt very safe in the park. I went on regular walks by myself throughout the day. The hotel itself is VERY quiet and beautiful scenery. I ate all my meals at the hotel. Food is AMAZING! I’m a food snob so that means a lot coming from me. Beaches were in walking distance. Snorkeling was just a 15 min walk away. The room itself...

'I had a very pleasant experience at Ma’xanab. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Service was definitely impeccable. Great food and drinks all around. The rooms were cleaned 2 times a day. Very relaxing experience and would definitely recommend. '

'Amansala is a beautiful hotel with great staff, awesome beach club, and lovely rooms and ambience. Although, it is noisy! We were woken up each morning to grunting and barking and coaching from the retreat classes over a microphone that echoed throughout the hotel grounds. So, if you are booking a room here as a non-retreat guest, beware. There was also frequent construction going on behind our room. All this to say it was a beautiful place to stay, the main downside was the noise. '

'When you enter the property; amazing! very beautiful. However if you market yourself as a family friendly hotel and you cannot offer hot water at night for a formule bottle, or any baby friendly food, im not very sure. The first we got with our 15 months old had a bathroom outside, without any closed of door. We asked for an upgrade (which we paid) as we thought it would have a bathtub. Seemed it was not connected but just put as decoration. Strange. Simply put; rooms were a bit too primitive...

'Een heel mooi hotel in een rustige omgeving, gelegen precies tussen Tulum Pueblo en Tulum Beach. Je hebt dus wel een auto nodig. Als je van rust houdt, is dit hotel echt een aanrader. Ontbijt is wat aan de zuinige kant daarom hebben wij zelf vaak gegeten in Tulum Beach waar hele goede ontbijt tentjes zitten. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, al kregen wij bij binnenkomst weinig uitleg. De kamer (wij hadden Lagoon) was heel groot, netjes en rustig gelegen en een eigen klein zwembad,...

'Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Room was lovely and we slept very well. Gorgeous ambiance. We especially loved the breakfast and watching the sunrise with complimentary coffee. An added perk was the ability to use the cabanas at Mi Amor. Would definitely stay at Mezzanine again! Concierge was great and taxis were very easy. When we come again, we will be sure to make a stop at super aki on the way in to pack additional drinks and snacks because access to convenience stores is...
