'Great staff and vibes. The place is decently maintained, but it is undergoing a transition which was at times noticeable. Food was good. The beach was a bit disappointing. There are no waves and the water is murky.
The highlight of the stay was definitely the staff, great people!'

'Staff was not attentive and unhelpful. The room was clean, the cleaning people were excellent and very responsive. The buffet was meh… the restaurants were extremely subpar and not worth the time. The rooms with swim up pools were convenient, my partner and I enjoyed having a semi private pool.'

'This is a huge resort with amazing helpful people working there however the biggest disappointment was the food both the buffets and à la cartes which needed reservations. For example the “Italian” restaurant was no where close being “italian”. The second was the alcohol seemed water down or mixed or something was off because all it did was give me stomach aches and made me tired and give me headaches. The resort lacks in activities and liveliness. The “bingo” event they had once a week costs...

'Dit hotel is echt geen aanrader omdat we teleurgesteld waren in heel wat zaken: heel onvriendelijk personeel, meerdere liften waren defect tijdens ons verblijf en werden niet hersteld, we kregen niet genoeg handdoeken voor 3 volwassenen en we moesten hier meermaals om vragen op verschillende dagen, de ijsmachine die in de buurt van onze kamer stond maakte een verschrikkelijk geluid wat heel lastig was gedurende de nacht, we hadden een lek in het toilet zodat er water op ons druppelde, we moesten...

'Terrible place to stay. Food allergies were not supported. Sanitation with food was horrible. All 6 people in party became ill. The cook in the Japanese restaurant allowed a drunk guest to come behind the grill and cook the chicken for the whole hibachi table. Diet drinks were not available at every bar. This made it difficult being a diabetic. The worst service came from the Italian restaurant.'

'Rafael did a great job as our butler each day arranging out dinner reservations and activities. His English is excellent. My toddler had a medical emergency & Rafael got us in minutes to the on-site doctor. Transfer to a nearby private hospital is also possible.
The family upgrade at Bávaro is worth it. We traveled with a 2 & 11 year old & it was the best part of vacation. There is childcare staff & play areas in a special access restaurant & family lobby that has games & snacks/drinks 24/7....
