'This place has moved up the list to my favorite resort in Jamaica. I love how all rooms have a view of the ocean and they are very clean and modern. My only complaints would be there should be a food truck option on the adults side as that's a long walk to the family side or you have to wait for a cart and still have to do some walking to get to it. 'The beach was a disappointment when we arrived because it was covered in seaweed. After several complaints and two days later they completely cleaned it. The water is very calm and pretty shallow.
The pool is beautiful and this resort has a great layout. The staff is very attentive and friendly. '

'Jamaica was incredible, but our stay at Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay was disappointing. Check in was very slow, and our room was not properly cleaned. There was dirty underwear under the sink. Our friends were double booked and were asked to leave their room after another couple was checked into it. Their replacement room had double beds instead of a king, and the entire process took from 3:00 PM to about 5:30 PM.
