« Great welcome from Martin on arrival and he cooked and served an excellent breakfast the following morning. My room was comfortable, clean and had everything I needed, but there is a noisy pump to give sufficient water pressure for all the showers, which annoyed me and woke me up - however you do get a very powerful shower! »

« I have stayed in this hotel before, many years ago. It is an old hotel but the room was well decorated and the bed comfortable. This is the kind of hotel that knows it market and fulfils that markets requirements. I had the full English breakfast and the food was of good quality and just enough so that I didn't feel stuffed. I stayed there primarily because of the price, but also because it is close to a good pub and restaurants, so meant meeting up with friends easy. I will be going back there...
