« Great place just down the road from the National Park. Took 5 minutes or so to get to the main entrance. The unit is part of the main residence, which was quiet, however you could hear the wood creek above you when the residence walks. Like all Hawaii you are subject to the roosters waking you up early but definitely recommend if you need a place to crash VERY close to the park. »

« There was a key code situation that never got resolved. We had to Leave the door unlocked cause we thought if it locked we would be out on the street for the night. Pool was good. Price cheap but the key thing a real problem. Not fancy for sure »

« We spent 3 nights at Raul’s guesthouse which felt more like a very spacious condo! It is safe with a gated driveway and a backyard that never ends! The fruit trees, the flowers and the landscape are absolutely stunning. Now for interior, there are only positives critiques to be said here. Everything is high end, they provide you with so many things that it is easy to cook your own meals! They have lots of pots and pans, dishes etc… but no condiments. Every inch of this place is taken care of....

« Great little house next to the owner's house. Not a lot of space but cozy. Owner is easy to reach and answers questions quickly. Warm welcome. However the location is not that convenient as it is a good 25 min from Hilo, and the roosters and dogs of the neighborhood are very noisy at night... »
