'This resort is very modern, spacious and clean. Nice clean pools overlooking the white sandy beach. Plenty of pool chairs under shades. Amazing buffet for breakfast and lunch with a lot of different options (gluten free and vegan included) . For dinner, make sure you reserve your seats at one of the 5 restaurants onsite, or you can go to another one of the Barcelo resorts. They have a bus running every 10-15 min to take you around all the different resort facilities (mall, gym, spa, nightclub)....

'I love this little town. Been going there for many years and love the hotel. Staff helpful. There is no elevator for those who need one. We were on the 3rd floor which was fine but if you have issues it could be a problem. As I said I love the little town but they are losing their beach. The sargassum seaweed is a real thing and starts in the early April or so and lasts for a while. All of this saddens me but may not go again as it is not pretty and the staff was working continuously to...

'This is a very unique hotel in the area of Puerto Aventuras, an area that is otherwise quite dominated by big chain resort hotels. The staff are exceptionally friendly and makes you feel like you're part of a family rather than 'just another tourist'. Breakfasts are amazing! Rooms were clean and comfortable, great design of the hotel inside and outside. You can also use their bicycles which is a fun way to go around the town.'

'I stayed in the Romance Bungalow by the Lake and had a relaxing, wonderful time! As a solo female traveler I felt safe exploring the resort. The pools are lovely and the adults only section is much less crowded than the other resorts in the complex.
