'I found there’s another kanakas hotel nearby, named karaksa hotel colors. It was very noticeable from the limousine bus on the way. It was a terrible experience to look for the original karaksa with heavy trunks. Otherwise it was very convenient, clean and comfortable . I would like to thank to the kind staffs.'

'First off, staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal and close to essential tourist subways. Excellent coffee served there. Only two negatives was, checks ins could be anytime of the day or night. Which really left me exhausted the night before leaving japan and on other days. . And a problem I noted in a previous hostel, pillows can't be washed so previous sweat stains evident from previous guests, when you sweat, the smell is released. So sorry as the place was great. '

'Very conviently located, close to ueno station and ameyoko market, on a busy street but the noise was okay (we had a room that was not facing the busy street though). Free breakfast included but dont expect much, only bread/pastries, we stayed for two night so it was okay but for a longer stay i would recommend to buy your own breakfast. Room was clean, size was comfortable for japanese standards, could open two small suitecases. Very friendly staff, didnt speak a lot of english, but spoke...
