'Melrose Mansion is a great place to stay in, if you are visiting New Orleans. The rooms are very nice and spacious and have a great look & feel. Our room was very clean, which is quite important to us. Across the street is a bar, which sometimes had some loud guests, which is the only downside we can think of. The breakfast is sufficient and the staff is very kind & helpful. The pool is a nice addition to the overall stay. Highly recommended!'

'We loved our stay at the Pontchartrain Hotel. The friendly staff really made our experience, but the rooms are comfortable and clean, with large bathrooms. We also loved the rooftop bar and the food was great. Wish we had more time to use the streetcar to tour the area; the brief time we rode it, it was a fun way to see the area.'

'The AC leaked and soaked my dirty clothes that were on the floor under the return air vent. They were nice enough to give me a plastic bag to carry my soaking wet clothes back to houston in, but that’s about It. I believe had I booked direct and not through hotels.com they would have been more accommodating. Otherwise it a beautiful hotel. I spent two nights and everyone was very friendly. '
