'We loved the location. So close to Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns and more, yet very peaceful and quiet. The owner was quick to respond when we had a standoff with the cows. Haha'

'Preston and Judy are delighful people. They responded to any question or need very quickly. Judy even grasciousy washed the pillowcase of a pillow that was left behind before we could get it the next day. The house was great and the view is spectacular!'

'My husband, son, daughter in law, niece and her husband had a 3 day fishing trip planned nearby. I suggested this place rather than a hotel so the family would be more comfortable and be able to visit during non-fishing time (something separate hotel rooms just doesn't accommodate). The house was absolutely PERFECT for their trip. Bonita was very communicative (giving very detailed directions as well) and was kind enough to give them an extended check out time when I messed up the reservation...

'Group came down to ride Hatfield and McCoy trails. This house was close but not too close. Did not have to deal with tons of traffic or noise. House was fantastic. Very spacious. Kitchen was the talk amongst the group for how big it was! Host was wonderful. We will definitely stay here again!'

'PERFECT stay for a large family! 14 were in town for our brothers wedding in Round Hill. 2 full kitchen spaces with living room. A bathroom for every room plus powder room downstairs! I'm jealous of those staying during pool season! It was glorious!'

'This farmhouse is huge and very well appointed. The photos on the listing are accurate. Plenty of beds. Common spaces are comfy, and the outdoor gazebo and pool area are very nice. Kitchen has all you need. The property is very quiet and private. Wifi is slow, but hopefully you don't have to do any work while you are enjoying the beautiful home!'

'Attended a family gathering for a graduation. 6 adults stayed the entire time and 2 commuted. A great time was had by all. Missy was an outstanding hostess and even walked our dog for the us. We were very comfortable and felt a blast of the past with the home.'

Jeff was very generous with the food he left for us to eat during our stay. Bird watching was an added bonus. Jeff was very responsive to any question. 'Family trip to see Shenandoah National Park. Property is perfect location to park and to Elkton. Private and secluded. My son fished every day and caught every day. Enjoyed the canoe as well. Washer and dryer super handy after all day adventures! Had a couple of things needed help with and the host was extremely responsive! Comfy beds and plenty of space for our family of 5 to spread out inside and outside!'

Luray Caverns and Skyline Drive were breathtaking. The farmhouse is the epitome of “home.” My family didn’t want to leave and is already planning a return trip to this 5-star VRBO!'

'My mother and sisters stayed at Hidden Valley Farm for the Mother's Day weekend. We loved every moment of our stay. The Hosts were awesome! The cottage was beautiful and very accommodating for our stay! We used every space available in the cottage and outside. It was such a peaceful and restful place. We were close to many activities - the area is rich in history. Lastly, the animals on the farm were awesome and we enjoyed watching and visiting them all! We hope to stay here again in the future!'
