'Host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and provided lots of useful information. It was next to another shepheard’s but you still had plenty of privacy. The garden area was spacious and the hot tub was amazing! The hut itself was very cosy and toasty when the log burner was on. The bed was comfortable. The shower was warm and powerful. The kitchen area had everything you needed. Sleeping under the stars was amazing and we had great views both nights! You are about an hours walk away to...

'Gorgeous hut, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Made very welcome by the owner who was really helpful and responsive. The hut is located in the grounds of a beautiful farm house, next to fields with horses and sheep for company. Very friendly farm dogs visited us now and again and the few huts were well placed for privacy but it didn’t feel too isolated either. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.'

'Sara and Chris were the perfect hosts. They really made our break away something to remember. The Snug had everything we wanted and more besides. The Valentine treats were a lovely gesture and much enjoyed. My little girl slept on her rose petals every night! Everything was so thoughtful from the extra bird and squirrel food to the sliders for use in the hot tub, which we also loved. We loved the walk to the lake and had a delicious meal in the Coach House, but the highlight was our 'pet' red...

'In one of the hottest weeks if the year, we had a really good time. The accommodation was good and local facilities met our needs. Plenty to see and do. First time in this area and hope to be back soon.'

'Myself, husband and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Foxglove. Great facilities and a fabulous location. We were lucky with the weather so barbequed and sat out with a fire. Stunning coast only a few miles away gave us lots of amazing walks.'

'Lovely room location great. The only complaint is the housekeeping as coffee wasn’t replenished at all and the water on one day. Bed wasn’t made at all. The Joiners Arms was nice breakfast on the last day was a bit short staffed as was busy and only one person serving and items needed replenishing mainly bread.'

'Really enjoyed our stay, the property was spotlessly clean on arrival. The only downside was the location of hot tub - guests from other properties were constantly walking right past the tub in order to get to the other side of the lake. A privacy screen would make a huge difference.'

'Easy to find. Absolutely everything you could need already there, E.g. tea, sugar, coffee, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, washing up liquid. Plenty of cleaning products for you to use if needed. Towels and bedding. Spa was lovely and hot. Good parking, nothing on site as such but that’s not why we went. Good location for Alnwick, Morpeth and Amble, although pulling out onto the A1 was tricky at times! All in all an enjoyable stay!'
