'We've stayed in several caravans over the years and this is the best one we've ever stayed in. Lots of space, comfy sofa, comfy double bed, bathroom with shower AND bath. Full size fridge freezer with.oven and microwave plus a wine chiller. Honestly it's so good there's part of me that doesn't want to review it so well because I want to keep it a secret! There is a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and single on the top. It's quite close to the main...

'Splendid little lodge. Good heater’s, perfect for the terrible weather we unfortunately had. We could turn them up when the gale was blowing and the hail came, then down again when the sun did decide to show. We still had a lovely time and managed some bird watching by the river and talking to the ducks! The beach was great, we even got a good sunset one evening. The lodge had everything we needed and felt spacious in the main room. David was very helpful with the booking as we are not good with...

'Loved the hut, enjoyed our stay. I brought a 3 course meal with me. So no need to eat out! Lovely and cosy. I would have liked a small saucepan to do porrige in morning. We managed with a big one!! I also wasnt good with lighting the gas rings. I would prefer a long lighter . And no hooks for towels when wet out of shower. In bedroom there were a few cobwebs and spiders in nooks and crannies. Whilst not scared, I felt these had been on ceiling and edges for some time. However bed very cosy....

'Wonderful property with luxury interior and amazing garden, terrace and hot tub. Situated in beautiful countryside surroundings. Lovely details included tea, coffee, milk, orange juice etc upon arrival. Only criticism was local pub wasn’t really a pub as closed in evenings. '

'we had a wonderful week at the lodge : everything you need to cook is there,the fridge is big there are 2 bathrooms which is easy one with shower one with bath there is a good Bose music installation with plenty of CD's the weather was outstanding so we could sit outside to enjoy our drinks you can easily visit most places in the Lake District from the lodge we truly recommend this lodge Ludo and Christine from Belgium'
