'Loved the tiny house atmosphere beautiful scenery '

'This property is a bird sanctuary! It was so peaceful and a perfect getaway. The cabin with hot tub was comfortable. We enjoyed reading on the front porch, cooking out on the grill, fire pit under the stars at night and most of all the sounds of birds chirping during sunrise. The staff was exceptionally friendly. We look forward to our next getaway to Asheville River Cabins! '

'My husband and I spent our 29th wedding anniversary at panther cabins. We had the best time. The cabin was perfect for us and romantic. The communication with management was wonder. Before perps when we we’re coming and the follow up after. Infact so much to do in the area. We want to bring the whole family when we do a vacation. That’s how much we enjoyed it. '

'Great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Cabin is small and perfect for two people. We stayed in the Nut House. The bathroom is very clean but very small. If you are much over 6 foot or 200lbs the shower is going to be a tight fit. Not an issue but something to consider. Overall it was a great cabin to stay in. '

'The hot tub was great but it was awkwardly located, there is limited kitchen utensils so if your planning to cook think grill. We found the bed a little soft for us. The owner was very considerate and even brought us a cake to celebrate our anniversary.'

'The cabin was very nice and the views were wonderful!! We would love to come back. The only problem was we got to the cabin and the cleaning crew was still there and were taking up the driveway. It was odd because we got there an hour and a half after check in but they still were not done. Other than that, loved our stay!'

I would suggest you bring a small shovel to clean out he ashes in the fire pit as it was full. The only thing I would suggest to the owner is I would clean the grates in the grill and grease them. 'This was a great trip overall, and this property really added to our long weekend experience. I had been to Asheville several times, but I usually stay closer to town and walkable to most downtown areas, so this was a wonderful balance of being able to enjoy the outdoor space while still being able to catch inexpensive Uber/Lyft rides when easier to leave the car parked at the cabin.'

One thing I'd recommend people looking to come here are aware of, is that the house is not easily accessible by sedans or small cars. The road up the mountain to the house is extremely steep, and two of the smaller sedans we brought had a very rough time up, to the point where we had to have some people get out of the car to make it up. 'Very nice cabin in Maggie Valley. Everything you need is there, very clean. Bring your clothes, food and some extra firewood. Nice stream out the back with a firepit. Just enough seclusion for a village cabin. Loads of great places to eat close by if you don’t want to cook in the full kitchen. Plenty of walking and Jeep trails in the area.'
