'We were looking for a quite Italian village experience away from the busy city chaos and found that at the Loft Fonte al Guinco. Maurizio was very helpful through the whole booking and checkin process giving us specific guideance to arrive at the loft as well as help with places to eat and visit while there. The loft was very clean and the detail of the finishes inside were a very nice touch especially the bathroom. I was very pleased with communication and support during our stay of any needs...

'We rented out the entire apartment. The space is grand and full of charm and beautiful antiques. The roof terrace is the real winner, stunning views all to yourself. Check in was very easy and communication seamless. The only note I would give is that the apartment could use some updating in terms of modern comforts. There is no proper air conditioning except for in one bedroom and some rooms had standing air conditioning units which were not that effective, and other rooms only had fans....

'We loved being so embedded in this charming town. The rooms are right on the Grande Piazza The good thing about this is it could not be more convenient to shops, restaurants, sites. And we soon were greeting and being greeted by many of the locals. The bad news is it is very noisy. At night the patrons of restaurants are outside until 2am and in the morning there is a very loud street sweeper at around 715 every morning going back and forth on the piazza. 'The room has excellent views in a space that oozes character. The shared spaces and rooftop terrace were a very cool added bonus. We stayed in the blue suite and found it spacious and comfortable. The only slight issue was a faint odor coming from the second bedroom. We didn’t use that room and closing the door solved the problem for the rest of the suite, but it is worth noting. I know some people will complain that it is on the third floor and there is no lift, but frankly if this is an issue...

'Il Tosco is a quiet, clean and charming place to stay while traveling in Tuscany. The common rooms are cozy and the elegant breakfasts are the best we encountered in Italy. This is a wonderful place to stay with a local quality. Well worth the higher cost. '
