'We stayed with our 8 year old in a bunk bed style bed. Great decision. The bunk bed has individual lighting to our son could sleep on the top while we had some light on our level. The hotel has very small rooms with a tiny capsule style bathrooms. 'I found there’s another kanakas hotel nearby, named karaksa hotel colors. It was very noticeable from the limousine bus on the way. It was a terrible experience to look for the original karaksa with heavy trunks. Otherwise it was very convenient, clean and comfortable . I would like to thank to the kind staffs.'

'Very conviently located, close to ueno station and ameyoko market, on a busy street but the noise was okay (we had a room that was not facing the busy street though). Free breakfast included but dont expect much, only bread/pastries, we stayed for two night so it was okay but for a longer stay i would recommend to buy your own breakfast.
