From arrival…to check in…to being upgraded at no cost…to having your own concierge that makes sure you’re okay and keeps you up to date with the daily activities…to the rooms….to the restaurants/food options…the spa…the beach club…ALL OF IT! Top tier!!! I was sad to return back to reality after having such a great NYE...

'The hotel is just new and has all the potential for a great stay, but currently some of the little things just make it not a 5/5. Our room wasn’t clean (there were nail clippings in the sink!) and when we mentioned it to the desk, it took 2 days for it to be actually cleaned.. in tulum you basically go everywhere by bike, but a 2 person room only gets 1 bike.. so you still end up paying. Also the rooftop and pool are actually shared with another hotel (that’s opening soon -> expect some...

'My wife and I spent the week there and had a great time. The room was very modern and spacious. The staff took great care of us. The room was very clean and had everything we needed to have a great stay. The housekeeping was excellent. The area was great and a short walk to restaurants in Aldea Zama. Again, we had a great stay there. '

'The check-in went smoothly, and we really got our hopes up for staying at Irie. But during the first night is where the problems started. Irie stated that there would be security during the night when something was up. We didn’t expect we would be needing them, also since the hotel isn’t located in the ‘party’ area. We had to think again, the hotel itself seemed to be the party area. There is no supervision during the night whatsoever. Neighbors played loud music, people who weren’t staying in...

Amenities are amazing - there are coffee, tea and water in the lobby, the pool is good for refreshing. The location is perfect. I loved the neighborhood, there are a plenty of restaurants and coffeeshops, a farmer market every weekend. It’s easy to get to a beach and to the city center'
