« Very slick check-in with staff who clearly know their job, are all over the systems and clearly want you to have the best stay possible. Robes and slippers are available to use if visiting the pool or spa. Spacious, quiet room with tea/coffee making facilities and quality toiletries. Choice of pillows and large comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant both evenings. The food choice was wide, well cooked and presented invitingly. However, the waitress who served us both evenings obviously knew...

« Stayed for a night on the way to Wales, great location on the promenade, got parked right across the street, made very welcome, very comfy bed, great breakfast and its a lovely town ended up staying around until afternoon....what more do you want for under £50??? »

« Perfect find fir a few nights away with the bonus of parking in Keswick!! Hotel was beautiful and certainly above the ‘stars’ given. Bedrooms were massive and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were amazing and plenty of it. Some decor dated bit the staff certainly made up for any of that. .. Kind, professional, knowledgable, engaging abd with a sense of humour. …. Certainly a credit to Hotel. Hotel has recently been modernised bit nit lost its Victorian charm. Definitely worth a visit »

« Vue exceptionnelle sur la rivière et le pont en pierre refait en 1818. Près de tout à pied. Magnifique endroit. Personnel attentionné et professionnel. »

« Excellent accueil. Restaurant sur place à conseiller. Petit déjeuner buffet très complet. Un peu loin du centre pour y aller à pied, mais parking sur place. Hôtel agréable en dehors d'un seul petit détail : la lumière blafarde dans la chambre qui lui donnait un air sinistre le soir, qu'elle n'avait pas la journée. »

The premises features a very large pub on the ground floor, which is used for a great breakfast for guests. Reception desk for hotel guests is in the bar. The bedroom was very well appointed, clean and spacious. The only issue that I had was that the staff were a little inattentive...
