'We stayed at Armathwaite Hall for one night and it was superb. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and little touches made our stay very memorable such as a glass of prosecco on arrival and a card and some chocolates in my room for my birthday. We stayed in a Club room which was very spacious. We ate in the dining room which was pricey but the food was exquisite so worth the money. 'I booked Windermere as we had never visited the Lake District before. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side, but that didn’t stop us from getting out and visiting the attractions.
After looking around for places to stay, we booked Windermere Suites and we’re really glad we did. We would happily return. 'Room was very clean the view from the room was looking over the river, having a balcony was lovely if it was summer time it would have been lovely sitting outside. Room 204 highly recommend. Evening meal of chicken supreme was excellent. '
