'Very friendly staff, big appartment, amazing view'

'Like: Large/spacious condo. good snorkeling bay nearby, 3 pools, ocean view, covered parking. pickle ball. well kept property and grounds. Most stuff was labeled in condo. Cable and internet TV. Gated community for security. Dislike: have to pay extra for A/C, but good window ventilation, so we didn't quite need it in August except one night. Some tricks w/ TV/remotes, TV didn't work in twin bedroom. Pools had concession/drink stands but those weren't open to get a complete resort feel. Vending...

'This hotel is such a gem. We loved having coffee on the lanai each morning with the ocean crashing on the sea wall below. Just beautiful. It was quiet at night and we were able to walk into town for dinner/shopping. It’s a great base for the west side of the island—we stayed for a week and did so much but always enjoyed returning to the hotel for a dip in the wonderfully refreshing salt water pool or just to relax on the lanai. Highly recommend! '

'easy parking, quiet area'

'Kona Coast was a Great Resort and perfect location for access to shopping and restaurants. The rooms were clean and very spacious it was exactly what we needed. But, to be honest I was very skeptical because of the reviews about the roaches but Thank God we did not encounter any roaches in our place but I did wake up everyday fearful that I may see one so I wasn’t totally at ease during my stay.
