Lodges in Hudson River Valley

'Great location. Difficult parking unless the host were to park their car on the street when guests are there. Good small, cosy room. Comfortable bed and clean. Be prepared for noise. Must be impervious or bring earplugs. Family noise & sound travels from overhead. Use of any water triggers noisy flush pump day and night. Other mechanical noises above the bed. Omission: Wasn't enough ground coffee to use the coffee machine. Very nice host. We enjoyed the location.'

'Its an interesting experience in that we thought we were staying at a hotel/ inn. The pictures and the website lead one to believe that but when we got there, we saw a motel. Nothing wrong with that but we felt we had been misinformed. They push the pcitures of the Club room which looks like an inn/ restaurant but that is the front of the building but attached to it is the motel where you stay. Again, once we knew that, we were fine but honestly, we were looking for more of an Inn or a hotel/...
