Chalets in Hudson River Valley

'Sure looked and sounded a lot better in the online description. The one good thing about my stay was the excellent communication with the host. The rest, well, I’ll try to stay polite and just list the facts. 1. There’s a huge For Sale sign out front and an abandoned restaurant next to the rooms. 2. Room needs updating badly.3. Windows don’t open or close. The hardware is either broken or frozen. 4. One window stays wide open, it has no screen so I had to jury rig a towel over the open window so...

'The property is located on the outskirts of Tannersville. The location is very close to hiking including the iconic Kaaterskill Falls. Unfortunately, the location is overshadowed by a very disappointing property. Its essentially run down motel in the back of a closed restaurant with a for sale sign out front. 'Loved how secluded it was ,the quietness the unit was exceptional clean & fresh , The grounds are expertly groomed with a ,firepit and a really nice hot tub will be back again as a 3 &4 bedroom unit is availiblealso'

'We pulled up to a restaurant inn with not a soul in sight. The restaurant was closed with a for sale Realastate sign outside. There place had broken windows and a side back door to access . We walked in to find a dark room with an old piano . We went upstairs to see the room and the only thing in the rooms posted was the white sheets and blankets . There was a small area with a microwave outside our door . The pictures had an outside sitting for guests that was not the case . We left and ended...

'The property was really lovley and the surrounding area was absolutely gorgeous. It was perfect for our retreat and we even got in a lovley hike not too far away! Be prepared though, the property is on a hill, so it may be hard to get to the look outs by the water if you have mobility issues. There were also a lot of rules around the house that were a bit tedious to keep track of but we personally didn't mind too much. Overall, had a great time!'

'Wonderful stay!'

'Great house and great host! Very convenient location particularly to Windham Mountain. '
