Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo - a Doubletree by Hilton
Nice location. Older well kept property. Could use more staff in the restaurant. Good overall.

Hilo Reeds Bay Hotel
The room was clean although in need of an upgrade. Bed was comfortable. Needed assistance to open the balcony sliding door, was very hard and stiff. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, service could not be faulted.

Hilo Hawaiian Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
It’s a beautiful location and very nice hotel. The restaurant was also very good.

Plumeria Hilo Hotel
We were in Hawaii for 2 weeks, and stayed at several hotels, and the Plumeria Hilo Hotel had the best room by far because ut was more like an apartment than just a hotel room. There was a fridge, micorwave, hot plate, dishes, etc. A bit a road noise, but the beach was close by.

Honolii Black Sand Beach Vacation Rental
Friendly hosts who let us pick lemons and limes from the trees in their yard. We felt very safe in the area, quick walk to the beach, and AMAZING sunrise views from the overlook!!! Wish we booked at least 3 nights! It is also a very quick drive in to Hilo. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Grand Historic Hilo House
This house was the dream home for our family of 8 vacation! Beautifully maintained, everything we needed for family dinners, and gorgeous spots to just relax and talk. It was a joy sleeping to the sound of the river and chirping frogs. We loved gathering on the wide veranda for coffee every morning ...
